When does The Reality Star Who Changed Britain air on TV?
The documentary consists of three episodes, with the first airing TONIGHT (Wednesday, 7 August) at 9pm on Channel 4.
The remaining episodes air weekly.
Famous names such as Davina McCall and Dermot O'Leary look back on their time working with the star.
While 'Talking-heads' made up of a mix of journalists and insiders also discuss Jade's rise to stardom, the fallout of her racism scandal and her tragic battle with cancer.
When did Jade Goody appear on Big Brother?
Jade was first catapulted into the spotlight after appearing on the third series of Big Brother in 2002, which was then on Channel 4.
She endeared herself to the viewers with her lack of general knowledge, stripping naked and drunken antics.
After coming out of the house, she appeared in her own reality TV show and created her own perfume called Shh.
Five years later Jade went back into the Big Brother house for Celebrity Big Brother and took her mum and then-boyfriend Jack Tweed with her.
But she became embroiled in a racism scandal over her treatment of fellow housemate, Bollywood star, Shilpa Shetty.
After being evicted from the house, Jade later visited India where she apologised for her behaviour.
Jade also starred in pantomimes and in 2008 appeared on Bigg Boss, the Indian version of Big Brother.
Was Jade Goody married?
Away from the cameras, Jade started a relationship with fellow reality TV star Jeff Brazier and the couple had two sons – Bobby Jack and Freddie.
After they split she started a stormy relationship with Jack Tweed but the pair eventually tied the knot in February 2009.
Jade died just a month later at the age of 27 and was laid to rest near her home in Epping Forest.
How did Jade Goody die and what impact did it have?
Jade had a number of health scares after leaving Big Brother but it was when she entered Bigg Boss that she was given a diagnosis of cervical cancer in August 2008.
It was reportedly at an advanced stage and she had to undergo surgery and chemotherapy treatment.
But by February 2009, it had spread to her liver, bowel and groin and she was told by doctors at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London that her condition was terminal.
While in hospital she was baptised alongside her sons and she also married Jack.
In the documentary, her mum Jackiey Budden reveals that Jade wanted to end her life in Switzerland during her painful final weeks.
Jackiey said: "She wanted to go to Switzerland to have the injection. She kept telling me and Jack all the time.”
On March 22, 2009, Jade died surrounded by her mum Jackiey, Jack and her friend Kevin Adams.
Her funeral took place in Buckhurst Hill in Essex in April 2009 and she was buried near her home in Epping Forest.
Jade's death prompted half a million more women than usual to book a cervical screening.
The Sun launched a campaign, called Jade’s Legacy, to reinforce the message that smears are essential.
What are the rest of Jade Goody's family doing now?
Since her tragic death, Jade's sons Bobby and Freddie now live away from the public spotlight with their dad Jeff, who married his partner Kate Dwyer.
The two boys served as best men for their dad, and Jeff says he still takes his sons every year at Christmas to visit their mum's grave.
Now 16, Bobby has wowed his mum's fans with his striking modelling shots after signing to agency the Unsigned Group.
While Freddie, 14, is working part time at a coffee shop – and the customers love him.
Speaking about protecting their privacy, Jeff said: "The first thing I did eight years ago was get a privacy ban. That meant there could be no photos of them in any publication, so they could have as normal a childhood as I could give them."
Jeff has joined a campaign to encourage people to conquer their FOFO – the Fear Of Finding Out – and get regular health check-ups.
He told the Sun Online: "Jade had warnings, she had letters from the doctors and in her mind she hoped that if she just ignored it, it would go away.
"We know how that ended up and I know as the father of the two children who were left behind that the last thing you want to do is bring two children into the world and then tell them they are going to have the rest of their childhood, from the age of four and five, without the most important person in their lives."
Her mother Jackiey has made several TV appearances on shows such as This Morning to talk about her late daughter and her struggle with disability.
She also wrote an emotional open letter to Jade where she shared her regret for not being a better parent to her daughter.
