Tipping Point fans baffled as contestant gives space answer to medical question

11/09/2021

ITV Tipping Point viewers tuned in for the latest instalment of the hit daytime quiz show on Tuesday as Ben Shepherd introduced the latest foursome battling it out to take home the cash prize.

This week the Good Morning Britain presenter welcomed Charlie, Harriet, Jacqui and Simon as they took on the arcade-style game.

While the contestants built up the cash pot in from the counter machine, viewers were quick to point out pick apart the incorrect answers given on the game show.

But one contestant baffled viewers the most, as Charlie took on the machine during his quick fire round in which he struggled to think on his feet for a science-based question.

His first question in the lightning round focused on the medical terminology for the common treatment used for couples struggling to conceive naturally.

Ben asked nervous Charlie: "The medical abbreviation for IVF stands for In Virto what?"

To which he replied: "Venus" rather than the correct answer which was fertility.

And it's fair to say the TV blunder wasn't lost by the viewers at home, as fans quickly took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the hilarious confusion online.
