The Walking Dead season 10 spoilers: Rick Grimes to be joined by another co-star in films?07/29/2019
The Walking Dead has a lot changing in the upcoming tenth season of the show on AMC.
Perhaps the biggest shake-up in season ten will be the upcoming exit of Michonne (played by Danai Gurira).
But last season Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) made his triumphant and emotional exit, and he will be making a return to some movies set in The Walking Dead universe.
Rick will be the featured character for three upcoming The Walking Dead films, which will continue and conclude his story once and for all.
Rumours have recently been swelling surrounding the presence of Michonne in the films, but now it looks like Rick could be joined by another of his former companions in the films.
Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) has been around since season one, and has followed Rick on his journey throughout the entire show.
He was obviously quite upset at the loss of Rick, but he may be on his way to reunite with the sheriff sometime soon, as teased by the actor himself.
Speaking to IGN, Norman suggested a reunion between the duo should “without a doubt” happen.
He told the publication: “I definitely think, if that’s on the cards, that should without a doubt happen.
“It’s such a family group, and it would be hard not to have that family be part of the story dynamic, you know what I mean?”

Daryl has always been part of a pack, and meeting up with his leader once again would certainly give him a spring in his step.
But could this hint mean that Daryl and Michonne would somehow find Rick somewhere in the next three films and bring the team back together for one last battle?
If so, will they all survive the upcoming encounters? Or simply be left to die in the films, away from their TV show lives.
Recently The Walking Dead showrunner Angela Kang spoke out about the upcoming exit of Michonne in season ten.
She recently announced: “On the writing side, we take the responsibility very seriously.
“It’s important to the fans and to us. When we worked on the exit for Andy, we took it just as seriously.
“We want to do right by this incredible actress and this story. I hope we haven’t screwed it up.
“We put her through her paces this year. She’s a spectacular actress. She brought her A++ game, as she always does.”
Fans only have a few months left to wait until the new season begins, but will it show off Michonne in her best light for her final episodes?
The Walking Dead season 10 begins Sunday 6 October at 9pm on AMC.
