The Masked Singers Piece of Cake unveiled in second show elimination

The Masked Singer's Piece of Cake has been unveiled following a tense battle against Rubbish and Jacket Potato in the second episode of the hit ITV show, which kicked off last weekend.

Judges Davina McCall, 55, Rita Ora, 32, Jonathan Ross, 62, and Mo Gilligan, 34, watched on in awe as they listened to all the voices before them.

Following their chosen songs, the panel decided to eliminate Piece of Cake, who took off her mask following the chants of the audience only to reveal she's Lulu.

Rita immediately gushed: "I love you!" as host Joel Dommett, 37, asked: "Are you alright?"

"I'm slightly in shock," Lulu responded. "I'm here and now I'm off!"

This episode saw Fawn, Jacket Potato, Piece of Cake, Pigeon, Rhino and Rubbish take each other on, while last week Knitting, Jellyfish, Otter, Ghost, and Cat & Mouse and Phoenix made their debuts.

The Masked Singer returned to screens on New Year's Day, which resulted in the first elimination – leaving the judges stunned.

Chris Kamara, 64, removed his mask to reveal a black skeleton one-piece underneath following "take it off!" chants from the audience.

After learning who was behind the mask, Rita gushed over Chris' performance – and even requested a duet in the future.

Clearly flattered at the offer, he replied: “I’d love that!”

Talking about why he took part in the show, Chris said: “I did it for the grandkids. I want to see the surprise on their faces when they see me unmasked on the show.

"Not even my wife knows so it’s going to be a surprise for the whole family.

"I’m not the best at keeping secrets so I’m not sure what will shock them most, taking part in the show or keeping it a secret."

As for his character Ghost, he said: "It resonated with me because it was so simple and fun. I just loved the concept and thought my grandkids would love it as well."

He admitted the costume was a tough one to wear, however, as he explained: "The view was really restrictive which takes a lot of getting used to.

"I really enjoyed it though it was really fun. I love singing so enjoy any chance I get to sing."
