'The Hills: New Beginnings': Does Lauren Conrad Still Have Ill Feelings Toward Spencer and Heidi Pratt?

It’s been 12 years since Lauren Conrad’s feud with Heidi Montag first ignited.

The two reality stars have made it perfectly clear that they are no longer friends and have done a pretty good job keeping their distance.

Ever since Heidi Montag married Spencer Pratt, the two women’s feud became even more intense that they just don’t want anything to do with each other at all.

Though it has been years since they’ve spoken, is Lauren Conrad still on bad terms with her former friends?

Spencer Pratt claimed that Lauren Conrad made a sex tape back in 2007

The Hills was one of those reality shows that just kept us on our toes with its extremely intriguing drama.

Though the cast has had their fair share of arguments on the show, no feud was ever able to top Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag’s.

The reality stars started as close friends who many thought would remain besties until the end of time.

It turned out that their friendship was not meant to be and it unexpectedly came crashing down around them.

It all began when Conrad found out that someone had started a rumor that she and then-boyfriend, Jason Wahler, had made a sex tape back in 2007.

After hearing of the rumor, the reality star immediately took to her website to set the record straight that that wasn’t true.

Lauren Conrad even did an interview with Us Weekly to further claim that none of the rumors were true and mentioned that one of her close friends “didn’t even call or text” her after the news broke.

That friend happened to be Heidi Montag who we soon found out didn’t call Conrad because her boyfriend Spencer Pratt started the rumor.

After realizing Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag went behind her back to spread this rumor, Lauren Conrad has kept her distance from them ever since.

The cast members seemed to have finally put their feud to rest up until 2015 when Spencer Pratt admitted to spreading the sex tape rumors all while dragging Conrad.

“Lauren is a cold-hearted killer,” Pratt told Complex magazine at the time. “That’s what people don’t get. She will cut you in your sleep. She tried to destroy us. If you want to throw missiles, I’m throwing a nuke. This is how I operate.”

Since then, Lauren Conrad hasn’t had anything to say about Heidi or Spencer Pratt and is most likely going to keep it that way.

Though Montag has tried talking to her former castmate in the past, the reality stars soon realized it was better if they just weren’t friends.

Montag has congratulated Conrad on giving birth back in 2017, but that is closest they’ve come to try and make amends.

“It seems like 2017 is the year to get pregnant, so first and foremost, a huge congratulations to my former co-stars, Lauren Conrad, and Whitney Port, who are both expecting,” she said in a Faithwire video. “I think that pregnancy and children are one of the biggest blessings that God gives us in our life.”

After it was announced that most of The Hills cast would be making their return to reality tv for the show’s spin-off, The Hills: New Beginnings, many thought that Montag and Conrad would finally be able to talk things out.

It was soon revealed that Conrad decided to opt out of the show and fans’ hope of her and Montag finally making amends died down.

So though Lauren Conrad chooses not to talk about Spencer and Heidi Pratt, it looks like she is not looking to make amends with them anytime soon.
