'The Bachelorette': Hannah Initially Thought Tyler C. 'Was a F*** boy,' Now 'Cannot Let This Guy Go'

Hannah Brown’s relationship with contestant Tyler Cameron had a slow start. The Bachelorette has said that, when she was first getting to know Cameron, she thought he was a player. 

On their first one-on-one date, Brown voiced her initial concerns to Cameron and he assured her that he was there for her and only her. 

“I think I’m really at a point where I’m really accepting of who I am and ready to give myself to somebody else. To be honest, I almost didn’t come here. I almost stepped away. My pops almost died like two months before I came out here. He got really sick and he was in the hospital for like 25 days, he was in a coma for like 10 days, it was tough. I had to sign away his rights and send him away for surgery. It was like the hardest thing I ever went through in my life. I really didn’t even want to come, but then like my pops kind of started recovering, had a successful surgery, every day I’m with him, doing everything I can to make him better. Me and my dad would sit around and watch The Bachelorette and he kind of like became a huge fan of you, and he was like ‘Tyler, this is your girl. You’ve got to go make the most of this opportunity.’ And so I went for it and was still feeling like ‘I don’t know if this is for me,’ and then I get to the limo and I see you–I got this feeling that I’ve never had before. I just feel it for someone I’ve never felt for someone before, and that confirmed a lot for me right then and there. I was like ‘I’m not here for The Bachelorette, I’m here for Hannah,’” he told her, adding: “I really am falling hard. I think the world could be ours.”

Cameron made it all the way to fantasy suites with Brown. Prior to offering him the suite keycard, Brown made it clear to Cameron that she wanted to focus on progressing their emotional connection, not their physical. In true Cameron fashion, he was happy to oblige. 

Hannah Brown’s feelings towards Tyler c. have changed

The next morning when Brown gave her confessional interview, she was crying. In a recent interview with ET’s Lauren Zima, she said it was because she had read Cameron wrong.

“I think for a long time with Tyler I thought it was just physical. I put him in a box and was scared of him and thought it was just going to be physical with him. And then as we started having more one-on-ones together and time I started realizing that it was more but he scared me a lot because I thought he was a f***boy. I did. And then it was like ‘Oh wait, maybe he’s not, maybe he’s not.’ Then after our fantasy suite, I was like ‘I cannot let this guy go.’ It just killed me that I felt that I had put up walls for so long,” she told Zima.
