TAMER Hassan was warned not to watch his daughter Belle lapdance the boys on Love Island – but he did it anyway and insists she is "liberating women".

The Hollywood hardman admitted being nervous about seeing what his 21-year-old was getting up to in the villa, but now admits he's embracing the experience.

It's after Belle put on a sexy performance for the lads to get their heart rate soaring in a task recently.

Her dad Tamer told Good Morning Britain today: "They did say to me 'maybe you shouldn't watch this episode' because it was the lap dancing one.

"But I did and it actually made me laugh.

"It's a game show, reality TV, we have to respect it and appreciate it is what it is. We have to move with the times."

He praised Belle's empowerment following her feiry row earlier this week.

"She's liberating women," Tamer said.

"Because of our cultural backgrounds, the women were kept behind.

"But Belle's empowering women so something great is going to come from it."

He added: "My daughter is very talented, smart and elegant. She has held her own in there.
"I'm very proud."

Belle lost her temper and ended up in a screaming match with Anton Danyluk  after he gave his phone number to a shop assistant and then kissed Anna Vakili.

Tamer told The Sun Online he was an "unhappy dad" after watching Belle break down and backed her behaviour.

He said:  "It was 100 per cent right to react the way she did."

After the pair patched up their differences, Tamer remains a fan of Anton.

He said: "Anton's a good kid. I like him if is what he says he is.
"I hope she finds what she's looking for."
