Strictlys Shirley teary over John and Johannes rumba while Craig plans to steal it for his wedding

Strictly Come Dancing's John Whaite and Johannes Radebe left the judges emotional on Saturday after their "stunning" rumba to Shape Of My Heart by Sting.

Speaking after the performance, head judge Shirley Ballas, 61, had to fight back tears while Craig Revel Horwood said he was stealing the routine for his wedding to fiancé Jonathan Myring.

John, 32, and Johannes, 34, who are the show's first-ever all-male same sex couple, were also left emotional following the routine with viewers at home "sobbing" over the "beautiful" dance.

Speaking during the judges' feedback, Shirley said: "Well, actually, I'm quite moved. I felt really quite emotional after watching that… I mean."

The star, who recently gave an update as she awaits her scan results from hospital, praised the routine before adding: "I'm getting all emotional!"

Shirley continued: "All in all, it was a class personified for me."

While Craig, 56, gushed: "I was just thinking through that dance… I might teach Jonathan, my fiancé darling, and steal it as my wedding dance. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous, I really did."

Speaking after the judges' feedback, where they received 35 points, John admitted: "I'm feeling a bit emotional now because it's just to be able to do this with Johannes…"

Prior to the show, John and Johannes were surprised by none other than Sting where he said: "I'm delighted that you're dancing to my song, Shape Of My Heart, may you dance well. I shall be with you, very proud, good luck!"

Viewers were left in tears over the dance as they took to Twitter to admit they were "sobbing" over the "beautiful" routine.

One person said: "I am literally sobbing! that was SO beautiful! #strictly."

A different account put: "#Strictly. John and Johannes – just wow. That was beautiful, moving and historic. Deserved a 40!"

Another follower commented: "John and Johannes’s dance was b-e-a-utiful! So moving #strictly."
