Strictly fans beg Rylan to join BBC show after showing off moves on It Takes Two

Strictly Come Dancing fans are begging Rylan to sign up for the next series of the BBC show after he showed off his impressive dance moves on It Takes Two.

The 33-year-old star put his best foot forward when he performed a tricky move from the Argentinian Tango with former Strictly pro dancer Flavia Cacace -Mistry.

As the Italian dancer offered her critique on some footwork by Reese Stephenson and his partner Nancy Shoe, the pair decided to perform a demo of the tricky footwork, leaving fans impressed by his skill.

During a segment titled Choreography Corner, Rylan asked Flavia: “As a champion yourself how hard is it physically to do this dance?”

“Well, shall we do a demo?” she replied, to cheers from the studio audience.

Rylan then went on to perform a move called the Gancho, which involved posing his arms high, standing on one leg and speedily move his leg back and forth.

Fans rushed to Twitter to praise the star on his impressive stance and beg him to consider joinng the show as a contestant.

“I swear @Rylan would be brilliant as a competitor on the main @bbcstrictly show #ItTakesTwo,’ said one.

Another posted: “They really are missing a trick not signing Rylan up for the Christmas special one year #ItTakesTwo. Whila third said: “Rylan is a STAR! Get him on the main show!”.

Elsewhere on the episode, TV presenter AJ Odudu fuelled romance rumours with partner Kai Widdrington as she told him he "looks so good" as they discussed their performance last weekend.

The two have been subjected to romance rumours and they have refused to deny them on multiple occasions leaving fans convinced that the pair are definitely together.

During the show, AJ described her experience on the show as "magical".

She said: "I'm not worried about the rumba. Genuinely, being so close to leaving at the weekend has just made me realise how much fun I'm having. This whole experience is so magical" and said "nothing could top" meeting Kai.

When asked for her Strictly highlight, she said last month: "Oh my gosh, all of it. But I think nothing will ever top meeting Kai for the first time, us just getting on like a house on fire.

"And coming out on the Strictly ballroom, doing the Jive and I was so shocked with everyone’s positive comments, like there’s no feeling like it. It was amazing."

Strictly It Takes Two airs weekdays on BBC2 at 6.30pm
