Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice ‘fancies’ Ranvir Singh says co-star Jamie Laing12/11/2020
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice is holding a flame for his celebrity partner, Ranvir Singh.
Apparently, the dancing pro 'fancies' the ITV journalist, according to her Strictly rival Jamie Laing.
"I think Giovanni fancies Ranvir, that’s what I think," the Made In Chelsea star told Metro.
"I am in love with Giovanni and I’m in love with Ranvir, so I’d be jealous of either of them if they started hooking up with each other.
Jamie added: "I just think they’re incredible friends, they’re amazing partners. You have to remember that they’re putting on a performance. When you’re putting on a performance, it’s about making people believe it."
He admitted being captivated by their "chemistry".
"If people at home are believing they’re in a relationship, then they’re doing their amazing job together, that’s incredible," Jamie explained.
"They’re such a beautiful partnership, it’s amazing."
The pair have done little to downplay the rumours about their alleged crush with Giovanni even whispering, "come on baby," to Ranvir as they danced on Saturday night.
The unheard moment was picked up by Giovanni's microphone during the dance.
Meanwhile, Giovanni called his dance partner a "beautiful princess" after kissing her in the quarter finals.
Giovanni, 30, said about Ranvir, 43, on Twitter: "Thank you to all of you for keeping our dream still alive .. your messages and votes means everything ! And to you @ranvir01 .. what can I say ?
"A beautiful princess who deserve everything single moment of this success ! Semifinals here we come."
Fans have been left convinced the pair are dating thanks to their sizzling chemistry on the dance floor and body language expert Judi James revealed there could be genuine feelings between the pair.
Last night Giovanni gave Ranvir a loving kiss on the head three times during their Viennese Waltz last night.
One wrote on Twitter: "If Giovanni and Ranvir aren’t dating, they must be f*****g great actors"
