Real Housewives of Dubai Ordered to Series at Bravo11/01/2021
The newest spinoff of the ”Real Housewives“ franchise will premiere in 2022
Bravo is setting its sights on international waters with an 11th “Real Housewives” series, “The Real Housewives of Dubai.”
Like its sister reality shows, “The Real Housewives of Dubai” will highlight a group of women navigating their relationships, careers and supremely lavish and ultra-wealthy lifestyles – but in the United Arab Emirates. Known for its over-the-top opulence, jaw-dropping modern architecture and wild nightlife scene, Dubai is home to many members of the global 1%.
The network promises a new set of glamourous, successful women who serve up hot drama and unexpected twists as they coast coast on a private plane, run their own empires or host events on a private island.
“Everything’s bigger in Dubai, and I couldn’t be more excited to launch Bravo’s first international ‘Housewives’ series in a city I’ve been fascinated by for years, with an outstanding group of friends as our guides,” executive producer Andy Cohen said in a statement.
Although the “Real Housewives” format has been sold around the world, “Dubai” will be the network’s first original international iteration of the program. No casting announcements have been made, but the network is already scouting ideas for the show’s official hashtag. Fans will be able to give their input by voting for either#RHODubai or #RHODXB with Twitter Conversation Cards.
“The Real Housewives of Dubai” is produced by Truly Original with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Jamie Jakimo, Brandon Panaligan, Glenda Cox and Chelsey Stephens serving as executive producers. Andy Cohen also serves as an executive producer.
