MAURA Higgins has opened up about how she nearly DIED from toxic shock syndrome and was left "so ill" in a horrifying health scare.
The former Love Island star – who rose to fame in 2019 alongside best pal Molly-Mae Hague – is set to detail the event in an episode of Shopping With Keith Lemon tonight.
Maura, 31, opened up about suffering from toxic shock syndrome after learning to use sanitary products for the first time.
Speaking to Keith Lemon – who is depicted by comedian Leigh Francis, 49 – the TV star admits she failed to follow instructions.
"Can you remember when you were a kid and you became a woman?" Keith is set to ask her on tonight's episode of the ITV2 show.
"Yes, I wasn't like 'Oh my god, I'm scared' because mummy already gave me the chat, do you get what I mean," Maura explains.
