'LPBW' Fans Are Freaking Out That Matt Roloff May Have Changed the Name of Roloff Farms

There are plenty of worthwhile families to follow on TLC, but the Roloffs from Little People, Big World have proven their star power for nearly a decade and a half. We remember when all of the Roloffs were featured on the show and Matt and Amy were married. A lot has changed since then, however. Matt and Amy have since divorced — and the big question recently revolves around Roloff Farms, the family business and property where both Matt and Amy still reside.

We’re getting more and more information regarding the fate of Roloff Farms, but it seems fans are shocked by Matt’s recent Instagram post. Did he change the name of the farm? Here’s why fans think so.

Amy Roloff decided to sell her half of Roloff Farms

The entirety of the last season of LPBW revolved around Amy Roloff’s big decision. Post-divorce, she and Matt decided to stay on opposite sides of Roloff Farms — and Amy finally chose to step away from the property and move forward on her own. “I had a place, I had something that I could hang on to, grasp, in order to figure out ‘I’m officially divorced,’” she said in regards to being newly separated from Matt and living on the farm. But now, Amy’s ready to move on and buy her own home — and she’s even actively searching for houses as we speak.

As for what happened with Amy’s half of the farm, she sold it to Matt — and Matt further explained what occurred on his Instagram. “I have chosen to buy (and Amy has chosen to sell) me only one side of the farm At this time.. Not the original farmstead … not the side with the pumpkin patch or her house.. for now she is only selling me her partial share of ownership in the side (DW) that I live on [sic],” he wrote. And the ex-couple made an agreement that Amy would live on the farm until she found a new place.

While Amy’s still on the farm for now, Matt is the current owner of the property and has no further plans to sell at the moment. And one of his recent Instagram posts has fans raising their eyebrows. “Progress on the most significant project matt roloff farm has seen in many years… hang in there it will all make sense very soon [sic],” he captioned a post of him working on Roloff Farms projects. And it’s the caption that really made fans question what was going on with the Roloff Farms title.

“He said ‘Matt Roloff Farms’. Did he buy out Amy’s part of the farm? [sic],” a fan questioned. Another asked, “Name change for the farm?” Yet another commented, “Happy to hear the new name! Congrats!!”

It doesn’t seem like there’s an official name change on Roloff Farms, however, so perhaps Matt threw his name in front of the title just for kicks.

Is he even going to keep the property? We’re not sure

Matt may be doing projects on Roloff Farms (and joking about the name), but is he going to keep the property long-term? We’re not so sure. Matt and his long-time girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, also have a home in Arizona — and judging from Matt’s Instagram, they’re spending more time than ever in the warm state. And we can’t forget that on another recent Instagram post of the farm, he told a follower, “I would love Amy to buy her side of the farm and let me move to AZ full time. She’s scared to death of the work and attention it would take [sic].”

For the sake of LPBW and Matt and Amy’s grandkids, fans would love for Matt to keep the farm and hand it down to his kids. But we can’t forget that the farm property is expensive — and Jeremy Roloff has expressed as much on his own Instagram recently. We’re not completely sure what the fate of the farm will be, but we’re sure we’ll find out soon.
