Love Island's Belle and Anton FaceTime in bed as they begin long distance relationship between Scotland and Essex
07/31/2019LOVE Island's Belle Hassan and Anton Danyluk Facetimed in bed as they begin their long-distance relationship between Scotland and Essex.
The pair arrived back in the UK earlier this week after narrowly missing out on a spot in Monday night's final.
Although the hunky Scotsman remained in London briefly after leaving the villa, he has since headed up to Glasgow, over 400 miles away, to reunite with his loved ones.
He and Belle had previously spent all of their time together while filming for the ITV2 dating show, but it appears that their romance is still going from strength to strength despite the distance.
Taking to his Instagram Story late last night, Anton shared a screenshot of his and Belle's FaceTime conversation.
In the snap, Belle is pouting at the camera as she lays in bed, resting against a grey, crushed velvet headboard.
Meanwhile, Anton is laying down, looking casual in a black T-Shirt and silver necklace.
He simply captioned the post: "Our first FaceTime @BelleHassan" alongside the heart eye emoji.
The pair's fellow Islander, Molly-Mae Hague, previously admitted her doubts for the couple due to the distance.
Ranting last week, Molly-Mae told the other contestants: "The only thing I was thinking recently, their personalities do seem to clash a little bit."
Amber Gill then hit back that she thinks the two will work on the outside, with Molly-Mae replying: "She's in Essex, he's in Scotland.
"That's like five hours on the train."
Anton and Belle have lashed out at the 20-year-old influencer since leaving the villa, branding her "two-faced" after she voted for them to be dumped.
Anton has also blocked the blonde beauty on social media, with Molly-Mae previously coming under fire when she doubted the pair's relationship after they had an argument at the Island Club.
Viewers branded the star a "hypocrite" as they accused her of "trying to split up" the other couples in a bid to win the £50,000 prize.
Molly and her boyfriend Tommy Fury ended up finishing in second place, with Amber and Irish hunk Greg O'Shea being crowned this year's Love Island winners earlier this week.
