Love Island’s Amy Hart exposes secret pact islanders made about final07/30/2019
Love Island came to a close last night with Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea crowned the 2019 winners.
It was Irish hunk Greg who chose the envelope containing the cash, but he chose to split the £50,000 with Amber without hesitation.
That means nobody has ever decided to steal the cash in the five years that she show’s been back on air.
And it seems the islanders had discussions about what they’d do if they won while still in the villa.
“You’d be a national hate figure”
Amy Hart, who quit the show, was on This Morning today and she admitted there was no chance anybody would steal.
She said: “We all said when we were in there, it wouldn’t be worth it because you’d be a national hate figure.”
Amy’s ex Curtis Pritchard was in the final with Maura Higgins, though the duo came out in fourth place.
They were followed by Ovie Soko and India Reynolds, who had only known each other for 12 days.
Bookies’ favourites Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague came second to everyone’s shock.
But Amber’s rollercoaster journey tipped her across the winning line after her Michael Griffiths heartache.
Speaking of this year’s series, Amy said: “I think in previous years it’s always been about the love stories.
“But this year it’s been about the love stories between us girls and also the boys, how tight knit all the friendships were.”
Amy also confessed she would be speaking to Curtis but there was no chance of a reunion if things went wrong between him and Maura.
She bluntly said: “He doesn’t fancy me, so he won’t. That’s what he said!”
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
