Love Island fans have shared their reactions as Millie Court and Liam Reardon were unveiled as the winners of the latest series on Monday 23 August.
Host Laura Whitmore crowned the couple as the series winners following the live final, set in the Love Island villa in Majorca.
And, after Millie, 24, and 22 year old Welsh lad Laim decided to split the £50,000 prize, viewers took to Twitter to share their take on the results… and some were not pleased.
One wrote: "Liam and Millie won. Well that was a shocker… it’s not like the producers have been setting that up for weeks!!! #LoveIsland."
A second raged: "I KNOW WE SAID WE SHOULD VOTE MILLIE TO WIN AFTER LIAM F**KED HER OVER IN CASA AMOR LIKE WE DID IN SEASON 5 WITH AMBER, BUT THAT DIDN’T APPLY WHEN SHE’S STILL WITH THE GUY!! #LoveIsland".
While a third baffled fan asked: "how THEE f**k does millie and liam win…he legit betrayed her and you losers let them win?? #LoveIsland".
But, the result wasn't met with anger by all viewers as one said: "So glad for millie and Liam. So elated that neither witch won anything #LoveIsland".
Another asked: "Why is everyone being so rude to Millie and Liam, they deserved to win. You lot are just being childish get a life #LoveIsland".
And a third said: "Glad Liam and Millie won. Also glad the shows over for the year, felt too long this year #loveisland".
Many fans also shared their shock at Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank coming in fourth place, as they hoped they would take the Love Island crown.
One wrote: "Sorry not sorry, Kaz and Tyler were robbed #LoveIsland".
Another added: "Kaz and Tyler got robbed I don’t care what anyone says, point blank periodtttt #LoveIsland #loveIslandfinal".
And a third said: "I really can’t get over Faye and Teddy beating Kaz and Tyler – she set a new record for ofcom complaints #LoveIsland".
Fans were asked to vote for their favourite couple to win the series at the end of Sunday 22 August's show.
After the first round of votes, it was revealed that Kaz and Tyler were in fourth place.
Faye Winter and Teddy Soares came in third place while Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran were the runners up.
Liam and Millie were the bookies' favourites to win the series, with odds of 4/7 ahead of the live show.
While, Chloe and Toby were in second place with odds of 5/2.
The third most likely couple to win was Teddy and Faye with odds of 16/1.
Finally, Kaz and Tyler were seen as the least likely of the couples to be crowned this year's champions, with odds of 20/1.
Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole were the favourites to win throughout the series, but as the final drew ever closer cracks started to show in their romance.
Student Liberty tearfully decided to dump Jake, who is now set to become a Dreamboy, after she felt their connection had fizzled on the final week of the show.
Then, as they were sent on the final date, Jake and Liberty decided to leave the villa together.
The series has had its fair shares of highs and lows, from Liam's Casa Amor antics being exposed by Lillie Haynes to Toby's indecision over who he wanted to spend his Love Island journey with, before deciding he only had eyes for Chloe.
It will also go down in Love Island history books as the episode which saw Faye explode at Teddy received more than 24,000 Ofcom complaints, a record for the show.
Despite the shows ups and downs – and some very odd nicknames for sexual activities – Islanders were able to find love on the series.
During their final dates, both Teddy and Faye and Liam and Millie confessed their love for one another.
