Love Island fans begged for "karma" to hit Maura as new girl Francesca set her sights on Curtis.

The Irish grid girl is a fan favourite, but she had several viewers doing a U-turn as she made a bee-line for the professional ballroom dancer after his split with Amy.

Many claimed she wasn't loyal for making her move, and even accused her of "playing a game" – so when Essex girl Francesca took Curtis on a date, they were desperate for sparks to fly.

Posting a meme of a girl laughing hysterically, one fan wrote: "Curtis might be stolen away from maura by francesca #loveisland ".

While another wrote: "Am i the only one that doesn't like Maura and Curtis together, go for Francesca #LoveIsland ".

"Maura about to get some karma for stealing Curtis #LoveIsland ," a third wrote after watching the pair's picnic flirting.

Maura seemed a little concerned, too, as she appeared to be paying more attention to Curtis' date than she did to her own with new bombshell Chris.

After earwigging from just metres away, Maura made no secret of her distress to the other girls as she returned to the villa, vowing that she had to win him back later in the day.
