Katie Price exposes troll and his phone number after he 'keeps phoning her and laughing'03/30/2021
KATIE Price has exposed a troll who keeps phoning her up and laughing – posting their number and urging fans to call him instead.
The mum-of-four then posted a picture of the man she said was making the prank calls and wrote: "Hopefully he'll stop ringing me now."
The 42-year-old star proved she was no longer going to stand for the harassment as she took dramatic steps to end the calls to her phone.
Sharing a screengrab of the number to her social media account, Katie told her followers: "This number keeps ringing my phone I don't know them and people laughing when I pick up and they keep face timing
"Please everyone do the same to them x"
This was then followed by a snap of the man Katie believed was responsible for the calls.
She added: "This guy keeps ringing me, hopefully he will stop now."
Katie is incredibly vocal when it comes to speaking out against trolls, and is no stranger to being targeted online – but via her private phone is a new low.
The star's petition to stop online abuse debated in the House of Commons last week.
Her Track A Troll bid calls to make it a legal requirement for social media users to provide verified ID when opening account to prevent anonymity.
While the topic has made it to the Commons for debate following Prime Minister's Questions, which is a huge step, no vote will be made or laws changed at this current stage.
Katie first launched an online petition in 2017 in a bid to make internet bullying a crime, with the issue close to her heart as her 18-year-old son Harvey, who has a number of disabilities, has been a repeated victim of sick online trolls throughout his life.
Katie has previously spoken about some of the insults that had been hurled at the youngster and she is determined to do all she can to stamp it out.
In 2019, her petition to make online abuse a specific criminal offence won the backing of a parliamentary committee.
A report by the House of Commons Petitions Committee said self-regulation of social media has failed and current laws are not fit for purpose.
In addition to Harvey, Katie is mum to 15-year-old Junior, 13-year-old Princess, seven-year-old Jett, and six-year-old Bunny.
Earlier this year, Junior shared screenshots of a slew of vile messages that he was sent by a troll on Instagram, abusing both him and his big brother.
