Hollyoaks star reveals huge conclusion to Timmy storyline

10/11/2021

Timmy Simons (Sam Tutty) has been keeping a watchful eye on Peri Lomax (Ruby O’Donnell) in Hollyoaks, spying on her via the hidden cameras in her home.

The IT wizard has been desperate to forge a connection with her, and thus he’s gone out of his way to split her and girlfriend Juliet Nightingale (Niamh Blackshaw).

He succeeded in doing so, with Peri having come to believe that Juliet’s claims of a stalker are nothing more than a work of fiction.

Timmy, meanwhile, takes his mission to the next level in upcoming scenes, as he pulls on Peri’s heartstrings, claiming to have broken up with his girlfriend.

Peri, feeling sorry for him, allows him to stay the night at the Lomax household, where things take a shocking

‘Timmy doesn’t know how to express or deal with these feelings that he’s feeling right now,’ actor Sam Tutty told Metro.co.uk, previewing the scenes to come.

‘He’s just spiralled out of control, and by trying to fix one mess, he creates another, so he’s constantly chasing his tail.

‘When Timmy visited Juliet in hospital, he had this huge moral internal battle about what he can and can’t do.

‘He’s really trying to show that he’s not entirely psychotic – he has this moral compass, it’s just very questionable, and very extreme.’

Extreme it certainly is, and viewers will see just how extreme this week when everything starts to unravel – and Peri finally discovers the truth.

A showdown of epic proportions ensues, as this storyline reaches a dramatic peak.

‘It’s a big crescendo!,’ exclaimed Sam. ‘It goes in a direction that even Timmy isn’t prepared for – and he’s always prepared for so many things! A deep part of his core is to be prepared for any outcome, which is why this week is going to be very, very interesting!’

The question is: will Peri make it out of this alive? What’s more, just how much danger is she in? And what about Timmy? Will he pay for his sins?

Sam added: ‘For a lot of Timmy’s life, he feels like he’s constantly been in danger, and that could range from going to the shops and not having enough money to buy milk to pushing someone down the stairs!

‘The spectrum is corrupted and skewed, so it’s interesting how deals with situations like this. He’s very out of his depth.’

We’re not going to give away the outcome, but we recommend you tune in this week to see how it all pans out.

Ones to watch: Monday October 11 and Tuesday October 12 at 7pm on E4.
