Lucy Verasamy has landed an exciting new gig – filming an interview series with one of the UK's biggest high street brands.
The weather expert, who regularly presents meteorology reports on Good Morning Britain and ITV News, offered her fans a glimpse of the production in her latest Instagram post.
Sharing snippets from the 2019 production, Lucy, 40, could be seen meeting with British farmers and growers to discuss their process, in collaboration with Marks and Spencer.
The promotional series sees Lucy investigate the British farming industry, delving into the backstory behind the produce on Marks and Spencer's shelves.
In one shot, Lucy could be seen wearing a chic blue denim summer dress, complete with a button-up front and capped sleeves.
Belted at the waist and paired with sandals, the tea dress was ideal for exploring an indoor greenhouse in the countryside.
Another snapshot showed Lucy wearing a lifejacket and waterproof gear, as she leaned by a misty blue lake and chatted with a fisheries expert.
The final photo showed Lucy in the kitchen with a chef, as he prepared a dish made from fresh basil leaves and ripened cherry tomatoes.
Echoing the classic Marks and Spencer design aesthetic, Lucy wore a patterned shift dress splashed with fuchsia pinks and mint greens.
In her caption, Lucy plugged the new project, writing: "Over the next few weeks I'll be lucky enough to meet some farmers & growers across the UK – and rustle up some recipes in the process.
"Great team behind this."
Her followers made it clear they were keen to watch the advertorial series play out on telly, learning about the ins and outs of British produce.
One wrote: "You always bring the sunshine!"
"Delightful news," added a second, and a third chimed: "No, they'll be lucky to meet you!"
Titled Fresh Market Update, the series has been produced in collaboration with Lucy's home network – ITV.
Foodie Chris Barber is behind the delicious recipes featured, with the series spanning 19 different documentary-style adverts.
Hyping the project earlier this month, Lucy said: "Over the next few months I'll be travelling the length and breadth of the British Isles from the north of Scotland, right down to Jersey, meeting the farmers and the growers of M&S fresh food, with one question on my mind… why do M&S believe that their food is not just any food?"
