Emmerdale spoilers: Victoria Sugden considers paying rapist Lee Posner off to get him out of her life for good

VICTORIA Sugden will be forced to think about accepting rapist Lee Posner’s sick ultimatum in Emmerdale tonight as she’s desperate to get him out of her life once and for all.

The pregnant chef’s stepmum, Diane, will try to persuade Victoria that paying Lee off might be the only way to get rid of him…

Along with Victoria’s furious brother Robert, Diane is in turmoil by twisted Lee’s demands that Victoria gives him a public apology as well as compensation.

Victoria is adamant that she will never apologise to the man who raped her, while Diane tries to convince her that paying Lee off is the best option.

Before long Lee arrives but he’s not backing down.

He wants double the money he’s been offered, along with the apology.

Will Victoria be able to find a way to get him out of her life for good?

Emmerdale fans were left horrified last night when Lee arrived back in the village and demanded that, unless he was paid off, he would insist on playing a part in Victoria’s baby’s life.

Victoria was raped earlier this year after Lee walked her home following a night out in Hotten.

The brutal rape scenes were broadcast before the 9pm watershed and complaints to TV watchdog Ofcom reached over 70.

An Ofcom spokesperson said back in May when the scenes aired: “We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate.”

Victoria – who is played by actress Isabel Hodgkins – was the victim of a brutal and harrowing sexual assault that played out during the last moments of the episode in question.

In disturbing scenes she was attacked by vile Lee, who was one of the two men she briefly talked to in the club.

They got chatting after his friend first wouldn't take no for an answer, and they both threw their kebabs at him before leaving together.

But despite Victoria making it repeatedly and explicitly clear she didn't want anything from him, Lee manipulated his way into her house after the long walk home.

And when he got there he turned on her, saying:

"You said if I wanted to call a taxi, but I don't. I want to stay here. Come on, you know we both want this."

"What I want is for you to go," she told him, showing him the door, but at that point he turned violent.

In upsetting scenes shown, Victoria begged him to leave as she was thrown around the bedroom as he attacked her.

She later found out she was pregnant after the horrific attack and has decided to continue with the pregnancy.
