Ever since Aaron Monroe (played by Charlie Wernham) arrived in Walford he eagerly pursued Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) until she agreed to go on a date with him. EastEnders’ Harvey Monroe’s (Ross Boatman) son and Tiffany ended up going out for dinner, although, halfway through, Aaron ended up leaving. He explained he had “work to do”, but when he returned home, viewers saw him washing blood off his hands. He also messaged an unknown number saying: “It’s done.” Could he have a murderous side that Tiffany knows nothing about?

Earlier this year, Tiffany and Keegan (Zack Morris) broke up after the market stallholder discovered her boyfriend had cheated on her with Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero).

Despite still having feelings for Keegan, Tiffany has attempted to move on by going on another date with Aaron.

In scenes that aired on Friday night, Aaron told Tiff he had booked a posh meal and a hotel suite for the duo.

“What time do you want to meet later?” Aaron asked in the cafe.

“I don’t think I can make it,” she replied. “I was working yesterday and I am just knackered, to be honest.”

“I’m going to have to cancel dinner and the hotel,” Aaron continued.

Despite wanting to reconcile with Keegan, Tiffany decides to give Aaron another chance after Keegan tries to cause trouble with her brother, Liam (Sonny Bottomley).

“Liam is doing something dodgy with your business,” he explained. “He’s trying to make money off you.”

Tiff replied: “Not this again. Please you have to stop this.”

Her ex added: “He said, ‘I am going to go into business with my sister and there’s going to be more where that came from’.”

Liam overheard the entire conversation and stepped in to defend himself.

“Who were you on the phone to?” Keegan quizzed as Liam replied: “Some bird from the hen-do.

“She was trying to hire me for her birthday. I said I was doing some business with my sister.”

In an attempt to stir things between them, Liam continued: “You should go on that date. Forget about him.”

Keegan looked heartbroken as he quizzed Tiff on her date.

The pair then continued to argue about it, as Tiff told him: “I don’t think I can have anything to do with you anymore.”

When Keegan left, Tiffany changed her mind and decided to go on the second date with Aaron.

As she got into a taxi with Aaron, poor Keegan could be seen looking on.

“Alright, Queen, rooftop and champagne awaits,” Aaron told her as he opened the taxi door.

“Honestly, there’s no pressure. I have booked us separate hotel rooms.”

Tiffany flirted back: “Separate rooms? I thought you were going to show me a good time.”

Aaron simply smiled and the episode concluded with the pair heading off in a taxi.

If they end up sleeping together, Tiffany could end up falling pregnant.

However, will she end up leaving the Square if she finds out about Aaron’s dark past in a bid to protect her and her baby?

EastEnders returns on Monday at 8.05pm on BBC One.
