EastEnders spoilers: Phil Mitchell confronts Jada over baby Alyssa's true identity11/18/2021
PHIL Mitchell is set to confront Jada over baby Alyssa's true identity in EastEnders next week.
The teen mum arrived on the Square earlier this month with bombshell news that her baby daughter was fathered by dead teenager Denny.
Dennis' mum Sharon Watts – who is played by actress Letitia Dean in the ITV soap – was shocked when Jada left the baby on her doorstep.
But with Jada adamant she couldn't look after the baby alone, Sharon agreed to the big decision to help raise the baby.
Sharon is set to tell her ex-husband Phil about the baby in upcoming scenes, as well as her plans to apply for joint custody.
The estranged couple dicuss the baby plans in front of Phil's new partner Kat, who struggles to cope with the closeness between the pair.
When Phil goes out to buy Sharon and Alyssa a present, Kat is left furious and confides in Stacey about her worries.
Stacey encourages Kat not to be jealous of the situation, as Sharon is not a threat to the relationship in any way.
Meanwhile, Phil – who is keen to support Sharon as she looks after the baby – finds himself going to the house to check up on them.
Jada turns up while he is visiting, and Phil instantly begins to quiz her.
Unhappy with her answers, he goes home to Kat to discuss his concerns that somethng is fishy about the baby being left on the doorstep.
He rerturns to Sharon to open up about his feelings, but is met by Jada at the door, who he continues to question.
Phil asks why she left the baby on the doorstep, and is left unconvinced by her reasoning – telling Jada to walk away and leave Alyssa with Sharon.
His demand is over-heard by his ex-wife, who is left horrified. But will Jada take Phil's advice and leave Albert Square – and her baby – behind?
Later, Phil insists to Sharon that Jada can’t be trusted and suspicions begin to rise for Sharon among the Walford residents.

Phil takes drastic action by approaching Martin and Zack and tells them they need to speak to Sharon.
Insisting she can’t lose any more kids – he makes them see that Sharon needs protection in this unusual case.
But will Sharon agree to what they have planned? And will Jada let them?
