EastEnders fans rule Mitchells out of Ian whodunnit as police call is exposed11/24/2020
Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) is set to find himself at the centre of an upcoming whodunnit storyline on EastEnders when he is attacked.
Next week, he will be attacked by a mystery assailant after making a number of enemies around Albert Square.
During Tuesday night's episode, Callum Highway (Tony Clay) discovered that it had been Ian who tipped off the police about the recent robbery.
However, despite the move against the Mitchell family, viewers aren't convinced either Ben (Max Bowden) or Phil (Steve McFadden) will attack Ian.
And that's because they don't think the father and son duo will find out the truth about the police tip off before the attack.
A number of viewers took to Twitter with their suspicions, theorising that the Mitchells won't find out any time soon.
One said: "You watch Callum probably won't tell Ben that it was Ian who made the call until at least the new year."
Another wrote: "Callum won't tell Ben it's Ian who made the call until probably next year, yet another drawn out storyline."
And a third added: "Callum has unearthed the mystery caller. But will he tell the truth to Ben and Phil that it was Ian who grassed them up for the crime?"
Next week, viewers will see Ian left for dead on the Queen Vic floor, with it being a mystery about who attacked him.
The skint businessman already has feuds with Max, Kathy, Tina and Peter, however he will make more enemies.
He finds himself in Rainie and Stuart's bad books, while also falling out of favour with Shirley, Suki and Linda.
Meanwhile, his son Bobby could be set to strike again as he reveals his true colours.
The storyline serves as actor Adam Woodyatt's exit from the soap, as it was previously confirmed that he would be taking a break from EastEnders.
EastEnders continues on Thursday at 7.35pm on BBC One
