Coleen Nolan jokingly ‘marches off’ Loose Women as co-stars wonder where she is

Coleen Nolan appeared to storm off Loose Women during a special festive edition of the show on Christmas Eve.

The show regular seemed to reach her wits end with her co-stars, moaning she "couldn't listen" to them any more.

During the show, Coleen tried to get in the festive spirit by dressing up as a giant Christmas cracker in a second studio.

Speaking from the main Loose Women desk, Ruth Langsford said to the former chart-topper via video link: "Coleen are you going to stay in your Christmas…"

Ruth's voice trailed off as Coleen grabbed a drink and appeared to start storming off.

Looking confused, Eamonn Holmes' wife continued: "Oh she's off…"

Meanwhile, Stacey Solomon could be heard asking: "Where has she gone?"

Making light of the situation, Janet Street Porter added: "Are you fed up with us already?

"I will let you wear my pyjamas."

Turning back around, in a deadpan manner Coleen hit back: "I’m going.

"I can’t listen to you anymore. I just can’t. I’m going."

Earlier in the show, Coleen dressed up as a snowman to read out a heartwarming messages of cheer from fans ,wishing love ones a merry Christmas.

This year, many people will be apart from their family on Christmas Day due to ongoing social distancing measures.

Earlier this week, Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock were forced to take the tough decision to put millions of Brits into Tier 4.

The move means that those in Tier 4 are unable to mix households – even on Christmas Day when Tiers 1-3 can have a Christmas bubble.

The decision comes as the government try to regain control of spiralling new cases of coronavirus.

A sudden spike in London and the South East of England is thought to be linked to a new second strain of Covid-19.

This new mutant variant is said to be up to 70% more transmittable.
