Big Brother's Glyn Wise reveals his incredible glow-up 15 years after finding fame on the show

BIG Brother's Glyn Wise revealed his transformation from happy-go-lucky teen to hunky adult on Twitter today – 15 years after appearing on the Channel 4 show.

The Welsh star appeared on the now-defunct series in 2006 and was one of the youngest housemates to ever go on the show.

Reflecting on his younger years, Glyn took to Twitter as he celebrated his 33rd birthday with a side-by-side of him today and then aged 18, which illustrated his notable transformation.

He penned alongside she photo: "I know that a lot of people still think of me as an 18 year old that was on #bbuk but I'm actually 33 today!

"Thanks for the Birthday wishes x Diolch x".

In the shot marking the milestone, Glyn donned a camel-coloured peacoat with a grey bobble hat and red and white scarf as he posed in the snow.

While in the throwback shot from 15 years ago, the former lifeguard beamed in a Welsh rugby shirt and sported brown curly hair.

Glyn also marked his birthday on Instagram with another snowy shot alongside his adorable pet pooch and shared his gratitude for turning a year older.

He wrote: "33! Nothing beats a Lockdown birthday lol To be honest, I've never been happier. Turning 33 will be the year of Positivity & growth.

"I've found happiness in long walks, Mindfulness, Prayer, meditation and having a strong connection with God. Older but wiser as fjey say!" [sic].

The North Wales native entered the house as a fresh-faced 18-year-old swimming pool lifeguard.

He captured the nation's heart as he experienced cooking for the first time and learnt how to wash his own clothes.

Glyn went on to stand as Plaid Cymru's candidate in Cardiff Central, but he failed to win the seat.

He now works as a teacher and describes himself as a "TV presenter".

The former reality TV star last appeared on screens in the summer of 2020 during Big Brother's Best Shows Ever, which was hosted by Davina McCall.

At the time, Davina tweeted along to the Best Shows Ever anniversary special, she said: "I have to say @GlynWise has had a glow up."

To which, he replied: "Thanks Davina, always been kind! Thanks for everything, I'm 32 now mind.

"We really need to get the show back on our screens! I loved every second of it!"

After watching himself on the re-run of the show tonight, Glyn told fans: "Looking back I was too young but I'm forever thankful to @bbuk for changing my life.

"I'm surprised they didn't call me Gormless Glyn judging at my face on tonights episode.

"Also – my English communication skills were super poor. #bbuk I wanna go back in lol" [sic].
