Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelley took another swipe at Boris Johnson on Wednesday’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! after referencing the alleged Downing Street Christmas for the first time on Tuesday’s show. After being mentioned by Sir Keir Starmer during yesterday’s Prime Minister Questions, Ant and Dec hit out at Johnson again.

The hosts poked fun at the government’s denial a party took place following footage of Allegra Stratton joking about the alleged gathering.

In Wednesday’s I’m A Celebrity, David Ginola’s campmates decided to keep the fact they lost his letter from home after the Castle Coin challenge.

Commenting on their decision, Dec said: “Not a great idea that, is it?”

Ant added: “If we’ve learned one thing in the last 24 hours, you can’t cover something up.”

“No, that will come back to bite them at some point. Might take a year – but it will happen,” Dec continued.

“The situation was as clear as day, we all watched of them getting the question wrong,” Ant mocked.

“It was obvious what happened. Even Ant and Dec are ahead of the Prime Minister – sorry… Danny Miller… on this one.”

“Don’t worry, we’ll launch an enquiry on something – not that that’ll do anything,” Dec swiped.

PMQs: Starmer attacks Johnson with ‘Ant and Dec’ jibe

Later in the programme, Ant and Dec made a second reference to Wednesday’s PMQs.

Ant said: “Anyway back to camp, where Frankie’s been hitting Naughty Boy with a few personal music questions.

His I’m A Celebrity co-star added: “Or PMQs for short.”

Earlier that day, Starmer referenced Ant and Dec’s previous swipe at the Government in PMQs.

He said: “We’ve all watched the video of the Prime Minister’s staff… they knew there was a party, they knew it was against the rules, they knew they couldn’t admit it, they thought it was funny.

“It’s obvious was happening. Ant and Dec are ahead of the Prime Minister on this. The Prime Minister has been caught red-handed.”

After the video of Allegra laughing and joking with her peers about an alleged party was leaked, Ant and Dec mocked the former press secretary.

On Tuesday, Dec said: “It is all changing in camp now because yesterday the celebs chose a new leader via the gift of a secret vote.”

Ant continued: “And that means David’s reign is over. But they weren’t celebrating.

“They categorically deny any suggestions that they had a party. And this fictional party definitely didn’t involve cheese and wine, or a Secret Santa.”

Dec then added: “Evening Prime Minister… for now.”

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues on ITV tonight at 9pm.
