Vicki Gunvalson is the OG of the OC. She debuted on The Real Housewives of Orange County during the freshman season in 2006. Now, 14 seasons later, Gunvalson is holding a “friend of” role instead of being a part of the main cast.
There had been speculation that Vicki Gunvalson may have been fired over the accusations she threw out about Kelly Dodd using cocaine during the Season 13 reunion. While that wasn’t the case, she isn’t back at full capacity while every other cast member is.
While Vicki Gunvalson hasn’t spoken out about the demotion to a friend, she did share an Instagram post about being “proud’ to be the OG of the OC. A lot of her life has played out on the reality show over the last 13 years and she stuck around through all of the backlashes.
Several scenes from the trailer show that Vicki Gunvalson will still be seen throughout Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Her friendship with Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador will be highlighted once again, and her engagement to Steve Lodge will also be featured on the upcoming season.
Viewers will get to meet a new housewife in place of Vicki Gunvalson, but her lessened role sparks a major change for the show. She has been the constant throughout everything on The Real Housewives of Orange County so, for fans, seeing her less is still better than not seeing her at all.
The Real Housewives of Orange County returns Tuesday, August 6 at 9/8c on Bravo.
WIMBLEDON, England — Cori Gauff, the 15-year-old sensation, made one of the most memorable Wimbledon debuts in recent memory by beating Venus Williams on Monday. She plays her second-round match Wednesday afternoon.
Before then, here is a primer on Gauff’s young career:
Nickname: Coco. Not to be confused with CoCo, the nickname of American player Colleen Vandeweghe. Gauff’s first name is pronounced the same as her father’s, Corey. “He likes to say every time they call me ‘Cori,’ they’re cheering for him,” Cori said on Monday, with filial exasperation.
Hometown: Gauff was born in Delray Beach, Fla., on March 13, 2004. She grew up in Atlanta before moving back to Delray Beach to focus on tennis.
Family: Her father, Corey, is her primary coach and was a basketball player at Georgia State. Her mother, Candi, was a hurdler and heptathlete at Florida State. All members of Gauff’s immediate family have the initials C.D.G., including her younger brothers, Cody and Cameron.
Pedigree: Gauff began playing tennis at age 7, inspired by Serena Williams. Her first big splash at the I.T.F. junior level was reaching the girls’ final of the 2017 United States Open at 13. She won the girls’ final of the French Open the next year at 14, and finished her junior career at the end of last year by winning the prestigious Orange Bowl tournament.
Hoop dreams: Her father originally wanted her and her siblings to play basketball, as he had in college. She didn’t like it and couldn’t shoot, she said, but was able to play good defense.
High-Profile Connections: Gauff is represented by Team8, the agency co-founded by Roger Federer. Since she was 10, she has trained part of the year in southern France at the Mouratoglou Academy, which is run by Patrick Mouratoglou, Serena Williams’s coach.
Favorite Meme: Like many her age, Gauff speaks fluent meme. Her current favorite is “And I — Oop!”, an interjection of surprise created by Jasmine Masters, an alumna of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” Gauff said many of her friends sent her the phrase after her shocking win at Wimbledon. (In a show of the generational gap, perhaps, tournament stenographers at her news conference Monday spelled it “Anna Oop.”)
Musical heroes: Gauff looks up to Rihanna and Beyoncé, but her favorite singer is Jaden Smith. She said she had his song “Icon” stuck in her head during her first-round qualifying match, and also listened to it, along with tracks by Kendrick Lamar and Miss Mulatto, before playing Venus Williams.
How she got here: Currently ranked 313th, Gauff was given a wild card into the Wimbledon qualifying tournament. In her first match, she beat the highest-ranked player in the event, No. 94 Aliona Bolsova, who had reached the fourth round of the French Open. Gauff then won her next two matches in straight sets to become the youngest women to qualify for Wimbledon in the Open era. Her first-round match against Venus Williams was her debut in the main draw of a Grand Slam event.
Her next opponent: In the second round Wednesday, Gauff will face an accomplished grass court player: Magdalena Rybarikova, who reached the Wimbledon semifinals in 2017. Rybarikova, a 30-year-old Slovak, is ranked 139th, but was in the top 20 at this time last year. In a sign of the intrigue around Gauff, the match will be on No. 2 Court, the tournament’s third largest.

The ‘FourFiveSeconds’ rapper looks like he’s gained a lot of weight underneath his black sweatshirt while stepping out with his family for a fancy dinner in Los Angeles.
AceShowbiz –Kanye West may need to join his brother-in-law Rob Kardashian‘s newly-started gym session to regain his fit physique. The 42-year-old rapper has been mocked by Twitter users as it seems that he has gained a massive amount of weight.
The hip-hop star was spotted stepping out with his wife Kim Kardashian and three of their four children, North, 6, Saint, 3, and Chicago, 1, for a fancy family dinner in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 30. For the outing, Kanye donned a black crew neck sweatshirt teamed with navy pants, sneakers and sunglasses.
The loose outfit, however, couldn’t hide the extra pounds that he has piled on in recent months. After pictures of his Sunday outing went online, people took to Twitter to comment on his bigger size and some of them were not nice.
“Kanye looks like Sherman Klump from The Nutty Professor,” one wrote. “Is he wearing a fat suit,” another sarcastically asked. Someone else mocked the fashion designer, “Yeezy got bigger t*ttys than his wife.” Another compared Kanye’s looks to his wife Kim’s, “Kim Kardashian is always ready for the camera. Kanye on the other hand.”
Kanye admitted in 2018 that he had a weight issue. The “I Love It” hitmaker revealed he had an unpublicized liposuction procedure that factored in his struggle with opiods addiction. “I was drugged the f**k out. I was drugged out. I was on opioids. Two days after I got off opioids, I’m in the hospital. Two days before going to the hospital, I was on opioids. I was addicted to opioids. I had plastic surgery because I was trying to look good for y’all,” he said.
He further opened up about his decision to get plastic surgery, “I got liposuction because I didn’t want y’all to call me fat like y’all called Rob [Kardashian] at the wedding and made him fly home before me and Kim got married. I didn’t want y’all to call me fat so I got liposuction, right? And they gave me opioids, right? And I started taking two of them and then driving to work on the opioids.”
Kanye said at the time he took a total of seven pills a day. “Then there was talks in my camp like ‘Ye’s popping pills. … Two days later, I’m in the hospital. I was taking two pills a day at the time. When I left the hospital, how many pills do you think I was given? Seven! I went from taking two pills to taking seven. So the reason that I dropped those tweets and everything is because I was drugged the f**k out,” he said of his breakdown in 2016.
Kanye said he has since been on medication following his breakdown and hospitalization for his mental health issue.
When talking to ‘Good Morning Britain’ about his ongoing feud with the ‘Wild and Free’ hitmaker, the former England player admits the rapper’s alcohol abuse attack really upset him.
AceShowbiz -British soccer star Paul Gascoigne has challenged Snoop Dogg to a “cannabis vs booze” charity boxing match, as their ongoing feud continues.
The 47-year-old sparked backlash when he shared two side-by-side snaps of the ex England player on Instagram last week (ends June 30) – a fresh-faced photograph of him aged 20, and a shocking picture of him at 47 – with the caption: “Alcohol abuse”.
In the same post, the “Signs” hitmaker – real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. – shared a set of pictures entitled “Marijuana abuse”, which showed pictures of the rapper at the same ages, hardly looking any different.
While the former midfielder, 52, labelled Snoop an “ugly t**t” in the aftermath of the post, he has since suggested the pair thrash it out in a charity boxing match.
Speaking to “Good Morning Britain” on Monday, July 01, he said: “To come from Snoop Dogg, I’m a fan of his as well. I can’t believe it.”
“I’ll do a charity boxing match with him – cannabis vs booze, bring it on,” the star quipped. “I’ll take him in the ring – I’ve been working hard, working out as usual.”
Paul went on to admit he was initially offended by the post, but is now trying to see the funny side of the “Wild & Free” hitmaker’s comments.
“For him to attack someone like myself, for the trouble I put myself through, for him to do that was really bang out of order,” he shared. “I was really upset at the time. I tried to look at the funny side but there wasn’t one to be fair. I was shocked.”
Kailyn Lowry has made up her mind about expanding her current family of four, a decision she reached because of another ‘Teen Mom 2’ star’s child!
Kailyn Lowry, 27, is ready to bring another girl into the family! The mother of three boys (Isaac, 9, Lincoln, 5, Lux, 1) confirmed this decision while vacationing in Hawaii with fellow Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer, 27. But it was another vacay pal — Leah’s own daughter Adalynn “Addie” Calvert, 6 — that made Kailyn want to give her boys a sister even more! “Addie has 100000% solidified the fact that I want a daughter,” the Coffee Convos podcast co-host tweeted on July 2.
This is just the extra push that Kailyn needed, not an epiphany — the MTV star already admitted that she wanted a daughter while filming an “Assumptions About Me” video for her YouTube channel, uploaded on June 20. One of her fan’s assumptions was that Kailyn “really really want[s] a baby girl soon,” and the reality television star didn’t deny this!
“I actually just said this! I really do. I don’t know what it is! Everyone says you should be happy with what you got. I am obviously,” Kailyn replied to the fan, adding, “If I couldn’t have kids, I’m happy with my three boys but I do, I really wish I could have a girl at some point in life.”
Along with Addie, Leah also brought her twins Aleeah and Aliannah, 9, to vacation with Kailyn and her three boys! The party of eight touched down on the island of Oahu on July 1, and they all went sightseeing the following day. Hawaii’s tropical views were so beautiful, one of Leah’s daughters started crying in an adorable video that Leah posted to her Instagram Story. Meanwhile, the change of scenery wasn’t too dramatic for Kailyn and her brood — they all recently took a spring break getaway to Quintana Roo, Cancún in April 2019!
