My IAC role was the bikini babe and I wasnt going to let cold showers stop me05/02/2023
I’m A Celebrity icon Nicola McLean ensured all eyes were on her during her stint on the hit ITV jungle series, as she made sure she stripped off for the iconic jungle showers.
Nicola appeared on the eighth series of the show in 2008, starring alongside Esther Rantzen and Joe Swash, who eventually went on to win the show.
The blonde bombshell went on to steal the show as she made sure she stripped off to skimpy bikinis to use the famous jungle shower, despite the awful weather though out the series.

Speaking about her game plan, Nicola told Daily Star in an Instagram Live: “When we were there, the first week, it was the worst rain in 30 years in Australia.
"So, we were freezing so the only time you were in your bikini was for the shower and most people were like 'we aren't doing it’, because you are getting wet and there was no way to dry and it was miserable.
“I knew what I was doing 100% and I thought I'm getting in that shower it was awful but I'm going to maximise it for the most I could, and that was my sort of role in there.”
Nicola admitted that she was hot headed with her campmates during her time in the jungle as she added: “I took on loads of other roles like 'most argumentative person' in there but definitely, I was going to make sure I was on the front page every day. Why not?”
She added: “Joe Swash didn't really wash loads didn't when we were in there. The majority didn't, it was me being brave for the bikini shots. Not because I wanted to wash because you are always filthy anyways.
“When you get out you have to walk through the mud, you are never clean, but the reason I did it was to get the bikini shots in the paper really.”
Nicola also revealed that the I’m A Celebrity crew had to issue her with a special harness so she could complete her trials without hurting herself or revealing too much.
She told Daily Star: “I had a harness which had to be different for me, yeah it was a personalised harness.
"I was up for all the trials, I wasn't exempt from any of them, it really p***es me off when people are exempt.
"Obviously, I would have told them you can't have massive force on them so you know when you can fall into the water in a challenge or something, maybe I wouldn't have been able to have done that as you can rupture them."
I'm A Celebrity airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV.
