Love Island Will Young’s parents slam PETA after branding him a disgusting creep01/12/2023
Will Young’s parents rush to the defence of the future Love Island star amid backlash from animal rights groups.
The 23-year-old's mother has hit back at critics who slammed the budding reality star online – explaining they are simply “nasty comments” that are “completely wrong”.
Will’s dad also backed the “modern generation farmer”, adding that his son was “simply showing what life is like on a farm”.

However, his dad admitted that he doesn’t necessarily “approve” of all the clips his son shares to his one million followers online.
The loveable father was recently branded a “disgusting creep” by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) earlier this week.
It came after a now-deleted clip showed Will dancing around a sheep giving birth on their family farm before removing the newborn lamb to the music.
Resharing the 30-second clip to their Instagram, the organisation wrote: “This farmer is a disgusting creep!
“He’s dancing over her body as she gives birth! Then he forced the second-old baby to ‘dance’ for clout on TikTok.”
A representative of PETA then went on to say that the fifth generation farmer should be ashamed of his videos by using the newborn lamb for “social media clickbait”.
Now, the blond hunk’s parents have hit back at critics as they defended their son, who is set to enter the Love Island villa in South Africa on Sunday (January 15).
Proud mum Jenny Young insisted her son is a “lovely, caring young man” and has always looked after and neutered the animals on his farm from a young age.
Speaking to MailOnline, she said: “Those people making all those nasty comments are completely wrong. He is such a caring person.”
Will’s father Andrew, 55, shared his belief that some critics have misinterpreted his son’s since-deleted TikTok clip – adding how his son Will actually added music to the clip after tending to the pregnant sheep.
He argued: “He would never trivialise something as important as lambing. People have taken the video completely the wrong way.

“He is a modern generation farmer. I may not approve of all the videos but he knows what he is doing and has built up a big following.”
PETA Vice President of Programmes Elisa Allen previously told The Sun: “Women want a man who cares about animals, not someone who exploits them for their fleece, their flesh, or social media clickbait.
“Mr Young might want to consider that the cholesterol in meat and dairy can clog the arteries to all organs, not just the heart – and switch to a vegan diet if he wants to please his partner in the villa or later in his life.”
