Jeff Brazier tells sons he wants ashes spread on ‘special’ shipwrecked island12/17/2020
Telly star Jeff Brazier has told his sons he wants them to scatter his ashes on the Shipwrecked island.
Jeff, who spent time on the Fijian territory for the reality show in 2001, said it is “so special to me”.
He added: “It’s a little island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It really was the most beautiful place.”
The 41-year-old, who had Bobby, 17, and Freddie, 16, with tragic reality star Jade Goody, added: “I’ve tasked the boys with taking my ashes or at least part of them to that island because it’s so special to me now.”
Jeff also told how he became a regular on ITV’s This Morning to support the lads after Jade died of cervical cancer aged just 27 in 2009.
He said: “I worked on This Morning for 10 years and it wasn’t because I necessarily love daytime TV from start to finish.
“But I figured that the most important thing was to be able to earn, you know, a reasonable amount that was going to help me clothe and feed my children.”
The TV star has recently opened up about Christmas celebrations in the family household, and how the tradition includes visiting ex Jade Goody's grave with Bobby and Freddie.
The Big Brother icon passed away in 2009, aged 27, following a tough battle with cervical cancer.
Jeff explained, while speaking to Woman's Own, that the first thing the family do on the festive day is to visit her grave, and they make the day about her.
