James Blunt says hit song Youre Beautiful is actually about Loose Women star

James Blunt has finally revealed what his hit song You're Beautiful is really about while appearing on Loose Women.

Over 16 years ago the singer released his number one hit into the charts.

The single has been a constant wedding and engagement song ever since.

James has never actually revealed who the song is about, until during the ITV daytime talk show where he confessed it was about someone special.

During the show, Loose Woman panellist Janet Street-Porter celebrated her 75th birthday.

Many celebs took to the show to wish Janet a happy birthday before James performed the iconic song.

Just before James sang You're Beautiful he jokingly revealed who the song is really for.

He said: "In 17 years I've never revealed who this song is for, but now that I'm releasing my greatest hits, I feel it's time to tell the world.

"Janet, happy birthday. This song is, and has always been, for you."

James performed to Janet as several photos of her appeared on a screen throughout.

Meanwhile, fans were left in shock by Janet's true age as she turns 75.

One penned: "Wow! Janet Street-Porter is 75! She does look good for her age and all natural. 75 Can you believe it Wow!"

"Happy birthday to Janet – I hope I look that good at 75!" another added.

A third shared: "Janet street Porter looks amazing for 75 jheeze!"

A fourth said: "Janet Street-Porter looks absolutely fabulous for 75. Happy Birthday Xxxxx."

Janet was joined on the panel yesterday by Charlene White, Coleen Nolan and Jane Moore.

Charlene explained how the panellist couldn't let the milestone birthday go by without mentioning it.

Janet has been on the ITV show for a number of years and saw fellow TV stars including Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby, and Kate Garraway pay tribute to her in a sweet video.
