I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here hit our screens with its 21st series on Sunday, November 21. The ITV reality show hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly welcomes 10 famous faces vying to become King or Queen of the Gwrych Castle.

Contestants this year includes ex-BBC host Louise Minchin, Olympic Gold Medallist Matty Lee and paralympic Gold Medallist Kadeena Cox, MBE , DJ Snoochie Shy, Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley, choreographer, Dame Arlene Phillips, music producer Naughty Boy, pop star and presenter Frankie Bridge, footballer David Ginola and former Emmerdale star Danny Miller.

Though ITV never reveals what it pays its contestants for their appearance on the survival show, we do know that the amount varies according to how famous and well-known they are.

Here's what the celebs are being paid for I'm A Celeb 2021.

Richard Madeley

Celebrities are expected to receive anything between £30,000 and £600,000 for their time on the show, depending on how famous and well-known they are.

For instance, journalist and TV host Richard Madeley, who is best known for being the presenter on Good Morning Britain, replacing Piers Morgan, is thought to have been roped into the show for a sum of £200k.

The ex- Richard and Judy presenter, previously signed a £300,000 deal when he took over as a host on GMB. His overall net worth after 30 years on television, according to Celebrity Net Worth, is £3.6million.

Louise Minchin

Best known as one of the BBC Breakfast presenters, Louise Minchin who has since stepped down from the job has been devoting her time to her podcast and her love for sports.

The mother-of-two who reportedly earned £185,000 over the past year, as of summer 2021, is estimated to have a net worth of around £2.1million.

Matty Lee

Olympic diver and gold medallist Matty Lee, who represented the UK at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and reached the final in diving is thought to have a net worth of around £1.19million according to trendnetworth.com.

Dame Arlene Phillips

The oldest contestant in the castle and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips is believed to have a net worth of around £892,000.

Naughty Boy

Rapper and music producer Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, was supposed to be part of last year’s I’m A Celeb line-up, but had to pull out due to a family illness and was replaced by Radio 1's Jordan North.

The musician is thought to have earned between £5,000 and £6,700 just this October with his total net worth this year being around £67,000, according to popnable.com.

Kadeena Cox

British Parasport athlete Kadeena Cox who specialises in sprints and para-cycling is thought to be worth around £1.8million.

The 30-year-old sporting star was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2014, has said she will be able to adapt to the I'm A Celeb trials so she can take part.

Snoochie Shy

Radio 1Xtra presenter Snoochie Shy hopes to follow in her former colleague Jordan North's footsteps. She has a total net worth of about £743,000 according to networthenvy.com.

David Ginola

Former footballer David Ginola has earned huge fortunes throughout his sporting career. The athlete who played in France for 10 seasons before moving to Newcastle United and then Tottenham Hotspur, is thought to have had a three-year contract worth £3.6million at one point in his career.
