Hugo Hammond and Love Island ex Sharon lean in for kiss in cheeky TikTok clip08/18/2021
Love Island stars Hugo Hammond and Sharon Gaffka sent their fans into a frenzy as they shared a cheeky video of themselves leaning in for a kiss.
The pair smiled at the camera as they stood next to each other at bar, with Hugo seen holding a drink close to the camera lens.
Taking part in a TikTok trend, Hugo said: "Two best friends in a bar, they might kiss…"
Sharon looks at the camera as she says: "Yes we will…"
Hugo then looks at her in shock and says: "What?" as Sharon repeats: "Yes we will."
The pair are then seen giggling as they lean in towards each other for a kiss, before pulling away and bursting into laughter.
Hugo and Sharon were coupled up together during the first episode of the 2021 series, but the pair soon worked out there was no romance between them.
The teacher awkwardly put Sharon in the "sister zone", telling her: "If I'm completely honest with you I can't see there being anything romantic between you and me because I see you as a little sister in here now, and I think you're amazing and I want you to find someone that's 100 per cent you, and you definitely deserve that.
"I don't see you in that way and I don't think I ever could. As much as friendship couples are great and we have fun, it serves a purpose for the time being, but I don't want it to be my whole experience. I want to share this with someone.
"I don't want this to be your whole experience at all."
Sharon was later dumped from the island after failing to spark a connection with a new boy, with Teddy Soares sending her home during a recoupling.
Meanwhile, Hugo had a number of failed relationships, with AJ, Georgia and Chloe all not working out, before he coupled up with Amy Day in Casa Amor.
Their romance ended as quickly as it started, with Hugo branding his Love Island experience "tragic" in front of Amy after hinting to her he didn't want to pursue things.
This then led to a very awkward confrontation on Aftersun as Amy landed a number of jibes at Hugo, who then retaliated and told her she "used him as a green card into the main villa".
Love Island airs weekdays at 9pm on ITV2.
