Björk is bringing Cornucopia to Dublin's 3Arena as part of European tour
08/06/2019Icelandic songstress Björk has announced a date at Dublin’s 3Arena.
The visually spectacular show, described by nj.com as her “masterpiece”, will unfold at the 3Arena on November 28, 2019.
It will be her first Dublin date in 22 years.
It comes on the back of her most recent album, Utopia, her ninth studio album, and is created and produced by the artist herself in collaboration with a team of pros with music co-produced by Arca and staging directed by film director Lucrecia Martel.
Also performing onstage are the Icelandic flute septet Viibra, harpist Katie Buckley, with percussion from Manu Delago, and Bjork will wear couture designs by Balmain and Iris Van Herpen.
According to Björk, this is her “most elaborate stage concert yet, where the acoustic and digital will shake hands, encouraged by a bespoke team of collaborators. Cornucopia is probably as expansive as I will get … an effort to find an equilibrium between all areas.”
The SSE presale takes place on August 6 at 9am with the artist presale on August 7 and local presale on August 8 at 10am. Tickets from www.bjork.com
