You need to see Cher Lloyd’s post-X Factor eyebrow transformation08/31/2022
If you ever wondered whether eyebrows really have the power to change a face, you only need to look to X Factor star Cher Lloyd to see that they really can make quite the difference to a complexion.
The 29 year old, who appeared on the ITV show in 2010 when she was just 16 years old, is now married and a mum to a four year old daughter who she regularly poses with in cute snaps on her Instagram feed. It’s not just Cher’s picture-perfect family life that has captured the attention of her 2.5 million followers, though, it’s also her beauty look.
Cher looks remarkably different from her X Factor days when she was famed for her bouffant hairstyles and retro makeup looks – and the most noticeable update in her look comes courtesy of her full and fluffy 2022 eyebrows.
“I remember your eyebrows from the first time you went on stage onThe X Factor, and look at them now. They grew like my confidence over these years,” comments one fan under an Instagram selfie Cher recently shared.
Another says, “Wait I haven’t seen your profile in years and omg you look absolutely gorgeous,” while a third adds, “I think you might be the only person on the planet who suits both perfect full brows and fully drawn on ones, NGL.”
Incredibly, Cher arguably looks more youthful now than she did when she was on the show, which goes to show the power that full eyebrows have – a secret that the likes of Kate Middleton, Chrissy Teigen and Victoria Beckham have all discovered for themselves.
Stars who historically preferred thinner arches now on a mission to get fuller, face-framing brows. Take Chrissy, for example, who has gone on quite a drastic path in a bid to achieve thicker eyebrows after over-plucking them in her youth. The model, 36, took to Instagram Stories in November last year to share her latest beauty treatment with her fans, in which hair was transplanted onto her brow area to make her arches appear naturally thicker.
“I never wear makeup if I can avoid it so I was excited for this eyebrow transplant surgery where they take hairs from the back of your head!!” she captioned one photo, tagging her Beverly Hills-based doctors Dr Jason Diamond and Dr Jason Champagne.
She later updated fans on the progress of her hair regrowth in December of the same year, sharing before and after photos from the treatment. “Welcome, new brow hairs,” Chrissy captioned the makeup-free post, showing her 36.4 million followers her new full and fluffy brows.
