TOWIEs Amy Childs goes for the chop and debuts new blunt bob that she’s ‘wanted forever’

If you’re looking for a reason to go for a bob this winter, take a look at Amy Childs’ incredible new blunt cut.

The TOWIE star has just bravely cut several inches off her hair in a stunning new-season transformation.

The 31 year debuted the look on her Instagram Stories, where she swished her fresh lengths around and mentioned that she “bl***y loves” the new style.

“You don't understand how long I have wanted to do this for," she captioned the Instagram story, before uploading more content showing her chop in all its glory.

The star also asked for her followers’ opinions in an Instagram poll, where she gave them the choice of voting for “Yes Amy” or “Short Hair Don’t Care”. An overwhelming majority of fans have supported her decision to go for the chop, which must be hugely encouraging for Amy.

It’s a brave decision from the mum-of-two, seeing as TOWIE stars are usually known for their bouncy blow dries and lengthy, extension-heavy looks. Amy herself has long favoured tousled auburn waves and semi-permanent hair extensions.

The new look might take some getting used to, but we imagine the style is much more low maintenance for a busy mum like Amy. The big hair change also comes after the Essex-born beauty introduced her new boyfriend, Billy Delbosq, to her friends in a recent episode of The Only Way Is Essex.

During the episode, Amy discussed her new romance with her friends as she admitted: "He is just so lovely, I am really genuinely happy and I can't believe I've got a boyfriend."

Amy isn’t the only celeb to have opted for a winter hair update.

Fellow reality star Lydia Bright gave her trademark blonde look a refresh the other week with an eye-catching copper tone – something fans were delighted to see.

We wonder which TOWIE star will be having a hair makeover next!
