Spoilers: Pregnant Nicolette and baby in vineyard horror in Neighbours

Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) has a serious plan to make Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) have an unceremonious fall from grace, but little does he know that fall could prove deadly in Neighbours.

The first part of his plan is to bond with Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) in order to get her away from Nic. The fact he still fancies the pants off her might have something to do with it as well. As the pair work together on the vineyard opening, they continue to bond and their relationship deepens. This plays into Leo’s hands as Chloe does exactly what he wants; she opens up about the negative sides of her relationship and confirms his plan has got legs.

Aaron (Matt Wilson) and David (Takaya Honda) are still a bit salty over Nic’s behaviour about the ante-natal class so Nic goes out of her way to try and prove what she said isn’t really how she feels. It seems like they might be able to take a step forwards, but is Leo ready and waiting to trip them up?

Hendrix (Benny Turland) might be a lot of things but one thing he definitely is, is a smart cookie. He knows something is going on with Leo and vows to keep an eye on him. He’s sure Leo is after Chloe and sets about trying to prove it. But Leo cottons on to his little stalker and sends him off on his lunch to give him and Chloe some alone time – involving wine.

Not ready to give up that easily, Hendrix calls Nicolette to the vineyard in a bid to get her to spend some time with her girlfriend. Leo is miffed at the intrusion, especially when the two women start having a great time. Thinking on his feet, Leo pulls Chloe away for a meeting.

Hendrix begs Nic to stick around, something tells him there is something going on and Nic needs to be here. She agrees to stay and heads off for a walk while Chloe is in her meeting.

But disaster strikes – she gets lost and, in her confusion trying to find her way, she suffers a nasty fall and it looks like her baby takes the brunt of it.

Will she be found in time to save her baby’s life?

Scenes air from Monday July 19 on Channel 5.
