Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been relatively quiet since their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey last week. The couple has stayed out of the public eye since dropping some huge bombshells about the royal family. During the interview, Harry and Meghan opened up about the pressure and struggles they felt both before their lavish wedding, and after. Meghan admitted that there were conversations within the family about the skin color of the couple’s future child, Archie, which left them both feeling uncomfortable. “In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time, we have in tandem the conversation of he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title, and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” Markle told Winfrey, per Insider.

The pair also admitted that things got so bad that Meghan had suicidal thoughts before they decided to step down as senior members of the family. “I just didn’t want to be alive anymore. That was a clear and real and frightening and constant thought.” Once they did step away from their royal duties, Harry claims that his father, Prince Charles, was so upset that he refused to take his calls. Since the interview, Harry and Meghan haven’t spoken out about their comments. However, they’ve seemed to go back to their normal lives, as Harry was photographed near his home in L.A. this week.

Harry was spotted in California for the first time since the interview

Prince Harry was spotted for the first time since the shocking interview aired. He was photographed riding his bike in L.A. as his security team tailed him in their cars. According to the Daily Mail, Harry wore a pair of black pants and a matching long-sleeved shirt. He added a hooded, zipped vest over top and wore a baseball cap on his head. He also added a pair of dark sunglasses and a gray mask for the leisurely bike ride. Harry didn’t wear a helmet, which he’s not required to do in the state of California. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s second child, was not by his side.

The pair announced the pregnancy before their interview. However, it was Harry who excitedly told the world the sex of the baby during the sit-down. “It’s a girl! Just to have a boy and a girl, what more can we ask for? We’ve got our family. We’ve got, you know, the four of us and our two dogs, and it’s great,” he stated (via Us Weekly). The duo also revealed that the little girl is due this summer. Harry and Meghan decided not to give their oldest child, son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, a royal title (via the Express). So, it’s likely that their daughter will go without a title as well.
