KFC launches Kentucky Fried donuts – but they can only be found on ‘secret menu’03/23/2021

KFC has launched a new "secret menu" item – Kentucky Fried donuts.
The treats combine the fast food chain's French fries with golden brown, crunchy, cinnamon coated donut balls.
Labelled the "Kentucky Fried Donut Go Bucket", the new KFC item has left food fans excited.
However, the newly-launched treat can only be ordered using the restaurant's app.
And it's only available in Australia at the moment for $3.95 (£2.20).
In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, Kristi Woolrych, chief marketing officer at KFC Australia, said: "We've come to learn that it never takes long for our fans to discover our secrets.
"So, it's no surprise they've already uncovered our latest creation, the Donut Go Bucket, on the Secret Menu.
"We know our fans love our classic Go Buckets, but this time the Colonel has had some fun by switching out the Popcorn Chicken with our limited edition Kentucky Fried Donuts. Along with our crispy Chips, this might well be the perfect combo."
The donuts have also featured on the regular menu recently – and come in two sized, regular, for $4.95 (£2.76), or large, for $7.95 (£4.43).
They also feature in two meals, the first being the Fill Up Ft. Kentucky Fried Donuts'.
This is available until 4pm and includes a snack box of donuts, a wicked wing, original tender, potato and gravy and chips for $4.95.
The second is the "complete treat" meal – which includes a burger, three wicked wings, potato and gravy, chips, can of drink and donuts for $12.95 (£7.21).
It has not been announced whether the donuts will come to the UK, Daily Star has contacted KFC for comment.
The restaurant's fans have been excitedly sharing each new item as they see it pop up on the app.
The secret menu is easy to find – you simply need to go to the homepage of the app, then scroll down, holding the screen for 11 seconds until a cartoon version of the colonel pops up.

The hidden menu will then appear at the top of the screen.
The news comes after one KFC customer was left feeling "discriminated" after a visit to the chain when she was told there were no meat-free meals.
Vanessa Hensley and her partner Aaron Saini visited the Sidwell Street branch in Exeter on the evening of March 6, when they were told by staff that there were no vegan or vegetarian options left.
This is despite not having any trouble ordering the meat-free meals in the past.
Vanessa labelled the situation "absolutely disgraceful".
