Inside Pixie Lott’s star-studded wedding to Oliver Cheshire at Ely Cathedral06/06/2022
Celebrations are in order for Pixie Lott and Oliver Cheshire, who have officially tied the knot following a five-year engagement.
It looked like a dreamy day, with 31 year old Pixie stunning in a unique gown.
Oliver and Pixie married at Ely Cathedral and it looked a vision with florals scattered by the door way.
Pixie's locks were styled into a casual updo and she sported a glamorous coat of make-up. She accessorised with large silver encrusted yellow diamond earrings.
Pixie and Oliver beamed with delight as they emerged from the cathedral to a shower of white rose petals.
Guests such as McFly's Danny Jones and his wife Georgia, TOWIE's Tom Pearce, and Idris Elba's wife Sabrina were in attendance.
Pixe's bridesmaids were dressed in the most beautiful yellow gowns, matching the florals on the bouquets.
Welcome boxes were given to each guest, in the form of Champagne, Ibuprofen and a hand cream.
There also amazing glam stations put on by Givenchy to do the wedding party's makeup.
Pixie's sister was amongst the bridesmaids and she looked delighted as she stood next to new brother-in-law Oliver while clutching flowers.
Pixie could also be seen in another photo holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers up in the air, in celebration.
The couple's reception gazebo was a delight too, boasting a similar colour theme to the wedding.
The tables were lined in yellow with florals running down them, as well as yellow candles.
And in the centre there was foliage galore to give the reception a very rustic and beautiful feel.
The wedding finally went ahead after new! magazine revealed the couple had no choice but to cancel their nuptials on several occasions throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
In March, Pixie told the publication: "We're getting into the nitty-gritty now.
"I always felt like it was so far away, but it's really creeping up on us now, so we're happy that we're finally doing it. It's been a long time coming."
Speaking out on why they decided to postpone the wedding, she shared: "I didn't want to do it when there were restrictions, and we couldn't invite everyone we wanted to because of the rules. I wanted to wait until we could have the big party- our wedding will be a big party."
Pixie and Oliver got engaged back in 2016 in St Paul's Cathedral after six years of dating.
At the time, an onlooker told The Sun: "It was so romantic – Pixie didn't seem to have any idea he was going to ask her to marry him and started sobbing with tears of happiness.
"When she couldn't stop crying, Ollie asked a passer-by for a tissue as he said he didn't want to give her his snotty hankie.
"They then hid behind a pillar for some privacy, but they didn't seem to have a care in the world about who saw their special moment – it was like something from a movie."
