Inside Meghan Markles wardrobe that boomed to £79,000 in 2022

The Duchess of Sussex boasts an incredible wardrobe packed with designer goods, and in 2022 she definitely showcased some memorable looks.

Meghan, 41, sported goods worth £78,993 over the last 12 months, topping her 2021 wardrobe by £20,000. Meanwhile her 2020 wardrobe only set her back by £44,188.

The mum-of-two has wore some incredible garments throughout the past year, from a gorgeous Dior coat to a custom white Louis Vuitton dress.

Her first major looks of 2022 came in April when she jetted to the The Hague in the Netherlands with her husband Prince Harry, 38, for the Invictus Games.

She arrived at a reception for the games in an incredible white and gold Valentino suit, which feature flared trousers and an oversized double breasted blazer. The jacket retails at £2,100 while the matching trousers will set you back by £1,100.

Meghan accessorised with a Valentino Garavani handbag, a series of gold rings and a gold Cartier watch from Princess Diana's collection.

The following day – the first official day of the Invictus Games – Meghan opted for a more casual look, and modelled blue denim jeans, white vest top and a black tweed jacket. Her stunning Celine jacket retails at £2,400, and she paired it with a £1,950 bag from the same designer.

Each day she changed outfits several times as she and Harry attended different events throughout the day, and on the third day of the games she got glammed up for an evening reception.

Meghan sported a white Valentino mini dress worth £3,600, suede pointed heels from Manolo Blahnik, which retail at £677, along with a small £960 handbag from Khaite.

Despite her incredible Invictus Games wardrobe, Meghan's show-stopping look came in June when she headed back to the UK to attend the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral with the Royal Family.

The Duchess wore a gorgeous off-white Dior Haute Couture ensemble, made up of a wool skirt, blouse and a long coat complete with an oversized collar and belt.

She wore £780 shoes from the same designer, and accessorised with Birks ‘Snowstorm’ Earrings, which she had worn previously, along with a Stephen Jones Millinery Hat.

In September, Meghan headed to the One Young World summit in Manchester with husband Harry, and stole the show in an all-red look. She wore a long sleeve blouse from Another Tomorrow worth £444, paired with trousers from the same brand, which retail at £486.

To finish off the striking look, Meghan wore Aquazzura ‘Panthere’ 105 cutout pumps in red suede, worth £850.

Another standout look from the Duchess came in September, when she jetted back to the UK again to attend Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.

She looked incredibly elegant in a striking black Stella McCartney cape dress with thin black tights and a pair of matching gloves. Meghan accessorised with a Black Dior X Stephen Jones Wide Brim Crin Hat and Stuart Weitzman ‘Tippi’ Pumps in Black Combo – worth £330.

To round off her stylish year, Meghan wore a custom made Louis Vuitton dress to the 2022 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Ripple of Hope Gala in New York City in December.

The dazzling white gown featured a bardot neckline and long sleeves with pleats across the skirt. The price of the custom dress is unknown.

She wore her long locks swept back in a ponytail, and accessorised with a Givenchy Black Satin Clutch With Jewelry Clasp, which she has wore previously, along with £155 Carolina Herrera earrings.
