“Spencer,” the film starring Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana, will hit theaters Nov. 5, it was announced Tuesday.

Directed by Chilean filmmaker Pablo Larraín, “Spencer” takes place during a Christmas celebration at Queen Elizabeth’s Sandringham Estate toward the end of Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles.

“There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. But this year, things will be profoundly different,” a synopsis of the film reads. “‘Spencer’ is an imagining of what might have happened during those fateful few days.”

The film is slated to premiere at the Venice International Film Festival next month.

Princess Diana was killed Aug. 31, 1997, in a car crash in Paris that took place as she was being pursued by paparazzi.

“‘Spencer’ is a dive inside an emotional imagining of who Diana was at a pivotal turning point in her life,” Stewart said in a previous statement. “It is a physical assertion of the sum of her parts, which starts with her given name; Spencer. It is a harrowing effort for her to return to herself, as Diana strives to hold onto what the name Spencer means to her.”
