Home Bargains is selling Christmas pudding and Brussels sprouts bin bags for 99p

HOME Bargains is selling novelty Christmas bin bags to make clearing up the rubbish from your festive feast fun.

Instead of being made from black or white plastic, these refuse sacks look like a Brussels sprout or Christmas pudding.

The sacks take on a round shape when they're filled up with rubbish so that they resemble the festive food.

The bags come in sets of eight and you'll need to buy one a pack of each if you want both designs.

They're 80cm by 64cm big and cost 99p for a pack, making each bin bag 13p.

While the bin bags are fun, you will actually be paying over the odds for them.

You can pick up a pack of 40 Smart Price 45 litre bin bags for 75p from Asda.

The same refuse sacks can be bought on eBay but they'll cost you extra at £5.49 a pop.

Posh shop Oliver Bonas stocked them last year for £10 a pack – so you'll be making a huge saving by buying them from Home Bargains this year.

They were spotted by mum-of-two and bargain hunter Rochelle Perks, 32, who shared her find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

She told The Sun that she found the bags in the Christmas aisles in her local branch in Bishopsworth, Bristol.

You can't order from Home Bargains online so you'll have to pop into a branch if you want to snap them up – you can find your nearest one here.

Home Bargains isn't the first retailer to roll out its Christmas stock – Matalan has released its festive range and it includes outfits for your pets.

Cadbury has also revealed its Christmas range including gingerbread bars and chocolate orange snowmen.

Tesco has also already slashed the price of tubs of celebrations, Heroes, Quality Street and Roses so you can stock up for less.
