“Family Karma” star Anisha Ramakrishna’s husband is Dr. Anand Tarpara, Page Six can exclusively confirm.
We obtained a copy of the couple’s marriage license that shows Ramakrishna, 38, and Tarpara, 36, filed the paperwork to get married on Oct. 8, 2022, in Palm Beach, Fla.
The big reveal comes after months of Ramakrishna keeping her spouse’s name a secret on her reality show and press interviews.
In November 2022, the Bravolebrity told Entertainment Tonight that she wasn’t open about her “unicorn” — as she nicknamed her partner — because “that person didn’t sign up” to be in the public eye like her.
She added that she even kept her mystery man’s identity from some of her co-stars, sharing, “I think when you’re older, you have more fear around what’s happening and putting things out there.”
Ramakrishna, who has starred in Bravo’s “Family Karma” since Season 1, has given her social media followers glimpses of Tarpara, but typically conceals his face with an emoji.
This week, the couple appeared to be vacationing together in the Middle East.
Fans have expressed on social media they don’t think it’s fair that Ramakrishna remains so private about her personal life when she openly discusses her co-star’s relationships.
“Anisha doesn’t have any problems talking about OTHER ppls [sic] relationships she just doesn’t want anyone talking about HER relationship. Girl bye. #FamilyKarma,” one person tweeted in January.
Another pondered, “I get that Anisha moved to Arizona to move in with her boyfriend…but why isn’t she filming & giving viewers a glimpse of her life there? Why the shroud of secrecy? Is this building up to a reveal ceremony? Like what’s up ??♀️ #FamilyKarma.”
In a Jan. 22 episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Ramakrishna said she had a “private until permanent” policy, meaning she did not like to introduce men she was dating to her friends until they were together in a more official capacity.
During Season 3 of “Family Karma,” she gave small glimpses into her and her former mystery man’s romance, sharing at the time that they were dating long distance when they first met, but she then moved to Arizona to live with him.
According to Tarpara’s LinkedIn profile, he is based in Scottsdale, Ariz., and works full-time as a vascular surgeon.
He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2008, where he got a bachelor of science degree in chemistry before going on to get his medical degree from Texas Tech University.
Ramakrishna also revealed on her show that she told her partner he had to propose before “Cinco de Mayo” or else she would leave the relationship.
Ramakrishna declined Page Six’s request for comment.
