Super Mario Bros. Movie Nintendo Switch bundle leaked for March

MAR10 Day will allegedly see the release of a new Switch hardware bundle that includes ‘something’ related to Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Given the current price rises that have started around the world, now is the ideal time to buy an Xbox Series X or S, before the cost goes up in the UK. However, you might want to wait a few weeks before getting a Nintendo Switch, as a new bundle is reportedly in the works.

The bundle is supposedly themed around the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie, which opens in early April, and will include a console with red Joy-Cons, although the same ones first released last year and not anything with special branding on it.

According to the rumour, the bundle also includes a digital copy of Super Mario Odyssey and ‘something related to the movie’, but it’s not clear what that something is.

Leaker billbil-kun has proven highly reliable about retail announcements in the past and they claim the bundle will launch on MAR10 Day, aka March 10.

It’s unclear if it’ll be announced before that but the real question is what the extra something is and whether it’s just a piece of merchandise, or maybe cinema tickets, or if it’s software related.
