Sanzo Partners With Jeremy Lin To Celebrate 10-Year Anniversary of "Linsanity"

The Asian-inspired sparkling water brand, Sanzo, has partnered wth Taiwanese-American NBA champion Jeremy Lin to celebrate a decade of “Linsanity.”

Sanzo, which is dedicated to bridging the Eastern and Western cultures, found the equivalent partner in Lin. Together, Lin and Sanzo have launched a limited-time only can in celebration of the basketball player’s accolades. Lin was the first Taiwanese-American to play in the league and was best known for leading the New York Knicks on a seven-game winning streak in a pivotal time in 2012. With the streak, Linsanity began. Ten years later, Sanzo continues to commemorate the winning streak, while also shining a light on bringing Asian stories, flavors and representation at the forefront of popular culture in America.

Profits from the Sanzo and lin collaboration will be donated to the Jeremy Lin Foundation, a strong serving member of the AAPI community. Jeremy Lin released a statement regarding the collaboration, “I am so, so excited to be teaming up with Sanzo on these custom cans.” It has always been a dream of mine to be able to leave a mark on professional sports, and to be commemorated on a Sanzo can to celebrate the last decade of my basketball career is incredible. My basketball career has been one of proving myself over and over again, and I am hopeful that the next generation will have even more opportunities because of it. Aligning myself with a company like Sanzo that is dedicated to honoring the stories and flavors of Asian Americans is a huge deal for me. It is even more meaningful that proceeds from the cans are going to the Jeremy Lin Foundation to support underserved AAPI youth.”

The collaboration is the first of its kind for Sanzo. The can design is inspired by the nostalgic Knicks-centric sports memorabilia. Alongside the collaboration, Sanzo is debuting a fresh new flavor – Asia Pear. The drink is one of the most requested flavors by Sanzo’s customers. The new drink brings the aromatic, sweet, crips and mellow flavor wit just a sip. Asian Pear joins other existing flavors including Calamansi, Lychee, Mango, and Yuzu with Ginger varieties.
