New Balance Launches “Everybody's Welcome” Collection for Pride Month

As Pride Month approaches, New Balance has announced the release of the “Everybody’s Welcome” collection celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community.

Designed by Hong Kong-based artist Zoie Lam, the collection includes genderless offerings in vibrant colors ranging from sneakers to apparel — all emphasizing inclusivity at the heart of the collection.

For New Balance’s 57/40 sneakers, white uppers are joined by overlays of gray suede and colorful highlights along with playful graphics. This runs from the insole and extended towards the collar. Branding can be founded at the lateral walls with a sketched New Balance logo and at the tongue framed by a heart. The classic 574 kicks come in tonal gray colorway with rainbow accents at the shoelaces and at the “MADE IN U.S.A.” tag. The Fresh Foam Tempo has been dipped in an assortment of bright colors but is still contrasted by hints of black at the tongue and eyelets. The colorful patterns are also featured in 202 slides, pants, anoraks and short-sleeved T-shirts.

“At New Balance, we believe our products can help make positive changes and create dialogue. Zoie’s core values are positive as she praises and encourages fluidity through art. As a brand, we hope that this collection will help foster connections with each other, regardless of their differences, ” said Kristen Mackenzie, Senior Marketing Manager at New Balance. In collaboration with New York City’s largest LGBTQIA+ running club “Front Runners New York,” New Balance will release a short film titled Front Runners Pride Run ®︎ which tells the story of the 40-year-old event.

The “Everybody’s Welcome” collection is available now at the company’s official online store.
