Diplo and Crocs "Take a Walk on the Weird Side" With Collaborative Classic Clog and Classic Sandal

Diplo and Crocs have joined forces to produce collaborative takes on the Classic Clog and Classic Sandal. Seemingly inspired by Diplo’s love of psychedelic mushrooms, the offerings boast swirled tie-dye patterns, giant mushroom Jibbitz with glow-in-the-dark detailing and more, making for what’s undeniably Crocs’ most trippy collaborative effort yet.

Each style features a swirled, multicolor print: the Classic Clog’s blue-based pattern works in various pink, orange and yellow shades, while the Classic Sandal serves up a mostly yellow look that’s accented by orange, blue and pink. Both come packaged with eight glow-in-the dark Jibbitz charms as well. The most notable of these are the Classic Clog’s enormous multi-color mushrooms, but other options include Diplo text graphics, flat 2-D mushrooms and more. The Classic Clog is finalized by Diplo’s Brontosaurus logo on the heel strap’s swivel point, while the Classic Sandal takes its place as Crocs’ first artist sandal collaboration with two foam straps atop the foot.

“I wear my Crocs literally everywhere so I’m stoked to have some with my name on them and that others can get them too,” said Diplo. “Crocs helped me bring my adventures to life with these designs and the 3-D, light up and glow-in-the-dark mushroom Jibbitz charms are cooler than I could’ve imagined. Now fans can take a walk with me in either the Classic Clog or Classic Sandal.”

The Diplo x Crocs Classic Clog and Classic Sandal will release on the Crocs webstore come June 8, with the former priced at $70 USD and the latter at $50 USD. Ahead of the release, Diplo will head to the Mad Decent Twitch channel on June 3 at 8 PM ET, where he’ll play a set inspired by the collaboration and give 1,000 pairs away.

Elsewhere in the world of collaborative footwear, the famed Jeremy Scott x adidas partnership is returning in Fall 2021.
