Baron Clothing Company is Reissuing Sell-Out Styles from Its Archives

Baron Clothing Company, the apparel brand founded by tattoo artist Matty D’Arienzo, is revisiting a series of the most recognisable pieces from its archives in a new ‘reissue’ collection.

First launched in 2012, Baron is best-known for its printed tees, which incorporate D’Arienzo’s illustrations alongside playful references to 90s and early-00s subcultures. D’Arienzo, who lives between Melbourne and London, founded the label after amassing a growing following for his tattoo designs.

In recent years, the brand has broadened beyond its tattoo-inspired beginnings; its upcycled reworkings of COMME des GARÇONS hoodies, which were over-printed with new artworks, were one of its best-selling styles. The label took a brief hiatus in 2020 as D’Arienzo moved into creating artworks and textiles through his arts and lifestyle shoot-off, Rough Estate.

The first drop, which launches today, comprises two of the brand’s flash sheet long-sleeves, which quickly sold out when they were first released in 2017. More limited-run drops are scheduled to release over the coming weeks.

The reissue collection can be bought at Baron’s web store, where prices start at £40 ($54 USD).

Among the other releases this week, check the latest drop from BLACK WEIRDOS.
